Good everyday lens
Relatively light weight and compact for a super zoom lens starting at F/2.8. Autofocus is smooth and quiet. Image quality is good enough for family photos and videos.

Compact, incredible range, awesome photos, feels great
I bought this for my new Sony a7C and I'm so impressed that I'm not going to buy any other lenses. I went shooting today and the versatility in combination with the photo quality is arguably unbeatable. I never imagined such a compact and lightweight combination to get almost every type of photo I need to. I used to have a Sony a6600 with Sigma primes and a Sony telephoto but carrying three lenses is super annoying and unnecessary when you can shoot with the Sony a7C and this Tamron 28-200 2.8-5.6. The lens feels more premium than people make it sound too. Could not be happier with this lens overall. Thanks Tamron!

Excellent lens for the price
It is a great all-rounder lens with wide focal length range.I have been using this lens for a year now. It performs good throughout the focal length range with decent aperture. It performs best at 28mm with f2.8.
