The transcribing is not accurate
I bought this because it has the song 'Good Times', which is performed by one of my favorite bassist, the late Bernard Edwards, along with Smooth Operator by Sade. I haven't played Smooth Operator yet, but the transcription of Good Times is TERRIBLY incorrect. You can get an idea of what Bernard Edwards was doing, but when you play the transcribed version along with the original song, it's not the same. I had to figure it out on my own. Though, as I stated before, it gave an IDEA of the song, but that's not what transcription is for.

Doesn't Sound Right
The bass tabs in the book don't sound like the bass line for the songs on album that it claims to depict. You'd probably be better off watching videos on Youtube to figure out how to play these songs because if you try to learn them from this book, it won't sound even close to what you are used to. I haven't tried out the guitar chords, though, so I suppose the book might have some merit in that area.

Just another song book.
Very disapointing, I should have learned over the years, these hard bound books are impossible to use. The songs are too complicated over too many pages to be able to sit, read and play from. It is good to have the lyrics but not every verse on a seperate page. Whoever puts these books together should try and use them it's hard work. Why not supply backing tracks? Unless you have a band of music readers this is useless. All the sings are in numerous other books, BROWN EYED GIRL, much as I love the song is almost every book of this type.

Worth the money
Great learning tool. To bad it isn't spiral bound.
