The lights are nice, but they work only an hour if exposed to direct sunlight for a full day. That is much less than promised - nor enough to be useful. On a cloudy day they last even less than that. I bought two sets, both have the same problem, so it is likely a design issue that it cannot store sufficient energy in the Ni-HM AA rechargeable batteries that are used to last more than an hour (in best conditons).

Couldn't ever really get it to work :-( was cool the few times it did. I think there was something wrong with the wire, it would only work if I held it a certain way. The lights aren't super bright either. Could be cool for a year round on a studio apartment patio or something.

I love these little solar lights. They are bright and look great on a small tree in the yard. The lights stay on from dusk to dawn and stay bright all night long. I would definitely recommend these lights.

Good, a tad tiny on the lights, but very pretty faint summer lightbug like glows.... maybe a tad tinier than even the lightbug's glow.

Really like these lights. They charged up in about 6 hours. However, after the first night, I never got to see them on, because preceding Christmas, the weather was cloudy and rainy several days straight. It's still cloudy, so there's not been enough sun to charge them except for the first day. My only compliant is that there should be more lights to the string set and for one set they're expensive.

Based on other reviews I was looking forward to decorating outside with these lights. Charged them appropriately and they lasted maybe 3 minutes fading rapidly into nada. Perhaps a new NI-MH battery would have saved them but when the battery is included I expect it to work more than a few seconds.

magical!!! They worked right from the start and they blink nicely at night. It's great not to have to worry about plugging them in and unplugging them. I'll be stocking up!
