Arrived quickly
Arrived quickly , brought as we broke the cover on our old one and light doesn’t work without cover . A little fiddly to install but didn’t take long

Difficult to install and very easy to make the light useless because of the safety switches
Whilst I understand the need for a microswitch that prevents the unit from operating if the cover is not in place, it really isn't necessary to have two micro switches, as this unit has. There are two lugs which activate the switches, and because of their poor design they are very easy to snap off when removing the cover, rendering the light useless (as mentioned in another review).I wish the people who design these products were forced to try installing them, then they'd know how poor their designs really are. I had to leave off the back plate because it's almost impossible to attach the light with the backplate screwed on.I could write a lot more about the poor design of this product, but I've got better things to do with my life. I managed to install the product and it does work, but it was much more difficult than it needs to be.

It just works !
I originally bought this item at a high street store back in 2001. I have just replaced it now with this slightly updated item. I have found this design to be excellent for light when shaving. In my experience many bathroom shave lights are manufactured for there form and not their function. This item looks ok and works very well. Happy shopper.

Don’t work very well
Installed easily but it doesn’t work very well , the switch that allows it to work is not very good so most of the time it doesn’t

plastic covering
Light is easy to install but if you don't fit the plastic cover correctly the light wont work and that was a bit fiddly but otherwise a good quality light for the price.

New safety features installed
I Was replacing like for like bathroom over-sink light and this new unit has sensor when attaching Perspex cover to ensure electrics are correctly in place. Also it is earthed which previous unit was notVery happy with putchase

Wall mounted shaver light.
Arrived promptly. A little fiddly to fit. The downside to this particular shaver light is that the transparent plastic tube bulb cover has to be precisely fitted to enable the light to come on. The cover has 4 small prongs that are slotted to the holes but beware that is fairly easy to break these off when attempting to fit the cover that will then render the light useless in that it will not come on so you will have to purchase another light fitting.
