Very pretty and high quality piece. I modified a regular hammer handle I had laying around. I also use a two part epoxy (probably a huge no no with traditionalist) and a wood wedge. It comes duller than Thanksgiving with the in-laws, so that took some effort, but now it has a good edge. I’ll probably get another.

Decent quality for the price. I only found one small void, but it's not in a detrimental spot and runs very shallow. I was able to put a decent edge on it for chopping and it seems like it is hardened relatively well.Overall, I like the design and weight.

This axe head is well made, I attached it to an oak handle and so far it seems to be durable. No rust or anything yet too

Very well made. Ready for a sharp edge and a good hardwood handle. Nice to take part in the making process by adding your own handle and shaping it how you want. Ax head is solid and would highly recommend

The blade is cracked just received unwrapped and the very tip of the blade about an inch back has a hairline crack I added photos of it above I don't want to say poor craftsmanship but that should have been caught in the forging process you can run your fingernail across it and it catches it's bad

It looks good but looking closely at it there is I big crack that runs right through the middle
