Arrived quickly, purchased this as I saw staffy cross wearing one in park fitted him perfectly asked ware she got it, staffy got slightly squarer head than my dog so top head strap does fall to side a little, that is why gave it 4 stars however can straighten it up, waited awhile to write review as it takes a couple of weeks for your dog to get used to it, let her sniff it fed her treats through it after a week managed to click collar together then after minute took it off repeated often leaving it on longer each time throwing treats on floor made a game of it, used it yesterday for awhile whilst I was out it was good she didn’t remove it, my pup is nervy hopefully in time this will get her used to people, iv a 10 mth Mastador x Shepherd around 36 kilo at mo, she has flatter jaw than Alsatian, I bought size 4, think with large Alsatian might need size up.

I bought 2 muzzles size 5 for my 2 dogs who are 1 year old German Shepard's male. The muzzles are good if you want to keep 2 dogs separate from each other and prevent a fight between it BUT i wouldn’t recommend to go outside with it for a walk as they can still bite through the muzzle. Both my dogs are family protection trained dogs and I have tested their protection with the muzzle while wearing my bite resistance suit and they are still able to get through it and get a good grip of a bite. In my opinion this should only be for small dogs otherwise it is not recommended for large breeds who bite on command or as is. On the other hand the dog can take treats and drink water through the muzzle. Hope this helps

I have stopped using muzzle's now .. If my dog can get this one off twice then probably cheaper for me to stop using them.This is the third muzzle he has had .. the previous two were not the same as this one, they were wrap around and made of soft material ... but he managed to get them off also and give them a chew .. So i give up on muzzles.

Even after measuring this came up really small made, I would advise sizing up

Maybe more our Husky felt awkward in it, (New I guess) was used to stop her from nibbling an area the vets had shaven and worked on.

Ordered this muzzle in highlight of BSL happening in the UK with our gentle giant XLs. It’s arrived covered in mud and snapped in all important areas. We are very lucky we do not have a bite reactive or scavenging dog that required this today, and instead only keeping our baby safe. This could have had a very different outcome if it was an urgent muzzle need.

I bought this muzzle for my 2 German Shepherd bitches who sometimes fight with each other. They're a bit fiddly to put on and get right but I now have an extra collar that I leave the muzzle on which makes life easier and quicker to fit. The older dog does sometimes manage to pull hers off ...so they need time to adjust to wearing one. I like the fact they aren't to rigid and the dogs can drink easily and I can still give them training treats while we're out walking.

A good quality product but my rottweiler found it quite easy to remove despite me altering the fitting..
