These chairs are exactly what I was looking for. We recently finished building our pool and we added a Baja step with 8” of water so we could have in-water chairs. We are in the process of obtaining submerged lounge chairs (ledge loungers) but I also wanted Adirondack chairs when I felt like sitting up instead of laying down. I found these chairs from Amazon with great reviews and at a great price. I could not be happier with these. They are a wood-looking “plastic” which are lightweight, easy to assemble, sturdy & perfect for in-water Baja step usage. The few bolts that hold the pieces together all sit higher than the water line (roughly 10” from bottom of chair) and the chair is heavy enough to sit in the water without floating or moving, even with water splashing. I put the chairs in the water, use an umbrella and watch sporting events on my patio TV for hours at a time. They are very comfortable, have large cup holders to hold most glasses and are wide enough for my large framed body to not feel squeezed in the legs & thigh area. I’m 6’2” tall and weigh 270lbs with an athletic build and large legs. Most folding chairs with arm rests squeeze my legs and aren’t very comfortable for me. These chairs are plenty wide and very sturdy. My wife is 5’6” tall and weighs about 130lbs and she also finds these chairs very comfortable. I don’t leave the chairs in the water permanently but since they aren’t heavy, they are super easy to take in and out of the water whenever you want. There are holes on the bottoms of the legs so when you lift them out of the water, the excess water drains quickly from the chair and sits back on my patio without holding water inside the chair. A+ for look, design, comfort & in-water usage.

These took no time at all to put together. They’re very well made. Not a cheap thin plastic. These are sturdy

These chairs are comfortable, even without cushions, but we did add cushions for even more comfort and beauty. The white ones do get dirty looking, but clean well with a Mr Clean magic sponge. They were quite simple to put together, and I love the cupholders! Water does collect inside them when it rains, but hasn't created any problems, as we turn them upside down to drain out after any rain.

We bought a set of these for our new fire pit. I was not expecting polywood, but I thought they would be solid plastic. You can see from the pictures that the arms are hollow, the bottom is cavity back construction and the back is a hollow shell. With that said, the construction is still pretty solid. I hope they stand up to cracking as they get older. These are light weight at 25 pounds, so if you can’t handle a heavy wood or polywood chair, these are perfect. Easy to put together (5-10 minutes). Comfortable. Cup holder is a great feature and will fit wider solo style cups.2023 Update - All four of our chairs are still in great condition. No issues or cracking. We live in the northeast and cover them during the winter. Power washed them this summer and they still look brand new.

These look great AND are sturdy and great quality. I loved these so much that I bought more the next year on Prime Day (GREAT DEAL if you can wait until Prime Day). These have been outside exposed to a lot of sun and rain for a year and show no sign of fading or deteriorating. They are easy to clean if you get dirt on them or if a bird poops on them. They are comfortable and the drink holder is something I didn't realized I needed in an outdoor chair. Would love it if the ottoman was sold as well.

I thought these were reasonably priced and would be good around my fire pit. Didn’t realize the seat bottom was cracked until the chair was assembled. Once the seat back tabs are snapped into the seat bottom slots, they don’t come apart. Seller wanted me to return chairs in original packaging. Was not able to do that. Purchased two and thought I would just live with the crack. In less than 6 months, additional hairline cracks in the seat bottom started to appear. The plastic is hollow which explains why they are less expensive than chairs made by other companies. Went to move the second chair to get yard work done and the left arm snapped off the seat back breaking the plastic. If a chair rated to support 300 lbs breaks when being moved because it can’t support its own weight, it makes me wonder how it would support a large adult.Tried to reach selller again to explain chair(s) were broken and could not be disassembled for returning. No response. Amazon customer service was disappointing as well and they dragged the process out for two weeks only to finally convey the A-Z warranty wouldn’t work because these were purchased from a third party and it has been longer than 30 days since my purchase. Customer service reps were polite, but because they (multiple calls) are not in US, their English was limited and they were speaking from a script. After 3 calls had to ask for someone in US. US agent was polite as well and said I needed to take it up with manufacturer.It’s been more than 2 weeks since they confirmed they have all my information to process a refund but they still have not processed the refund. Reached out again last night and they responded today asking me for all my information again.It has been very frustrating and I wish I had just spent the extra money to purchase the nicer brand ones and be done with it.
