It works for me!!!
When I initially purchased this visor it was for the sole purpose to protect myself from the Florida sun while walking my dog. It reminded me of the "flying nun" and I was hesitant to wear it at first. It protects so well and I love the top opening. I especially like how it covers my forehead completely which keeps the sun from giving me a partial forehead tan like regular visors. It also protects the side of my face, It has truly become my favorite visor and feels very light while wearing. I now have three in different neutral colors.

Shades my entire face.
Good quality material, mine arrived in perfect shape, not bent or folded weirdly. I like the open top. I think it would be too hot otherwise. I got the grey and like the way it looks, almost like a very light-weight, grey denim. The long brim blocks the sun perfectly and keeps my entire face in the shade. I'm not used to wide-brimmed hats and feel like a doofus, but that's just me.
