ASRock B550 Steel Legend Supports 3rd Gen AMD AM4 Ryzen™ / Future AMD Ryzen™ Processors Motherboard

This is a very nice am4 board, has 2 m2 drives and a spot for the wifi card. Plenty of sata connects,fan connects, (2) 3 and 4 pin rgb connections . Has alot and it looks great 5800x booted no problems out of the box.

Gosh I love this already. My husband got it for me to do a upgrade on my pc. I loooooove the white and rgb. Just looks awesome with the rest of my rgb setup. As for specs. If your here you most likely already know what your looking for in a motherboard. Annnnd I’m not the one who knows all the amazing specs with this. The husband is the one who did all that homework. I am enjoying the spoils of his hard work. And can confirm it’s a solid upgrade from my old system. 🥰

Works as it should. Was skeptical about ASRock.. but everything looks amazing and works perfectly. The shield near the motherboards USB is a bit flimsy.. other than that this is a fantastic motherboard.

Great board so far, plenty of connectors, nice RGB included, installed M2 key E wifi with not one single problem yet, maybe a bios update needed but 2 4 - pin pwm connectors are only customizable trought bios, on win 10 they don't show up, leave alone to setting them from there, but for now just a detail i guess..

This was a Christmas present for stepson. It was both of ours first computer build. Seems to be a pretty good motherboard. It has front usb-c header which a lot don’t, and the audio chipset is a higher spec. When pairing with the new ryzen 5000 series you might have to update the bios before installing windows 10 (it would hang up at the windows logo) even if you have P1.10 like we did.

I will point out this motherboard requires 2x8 pins: one to power the motherboard and one to power the peripherals. I Was running perfectly fine with only one 8 pin connected until I upgraded my GPU. I intend on updating this review to confirm the shut down is caused by the missing power cable. Overall I am satisfied and will continue to buy Asrock motherboards for the power to price ratio. Update: the additional pins, distributing more power essentially-worked well. May have stability issues with overclocking ram above 3200; user discretion advised.

A faulty motherboard is the worst component you can have damaged on a new pc build, because its hard to troubleshoot. This motherboard has a debugger for no reason also because its super hard to actually tell what number it gives since it spits out a whole bunch of numbers at once vs the msi tomahawk that just has 3 error lights cpu/ram/vram. Ran light games but any time i run a heavy game like warzone or tarkov my pc shuts down i tested every other component and had to spend money buying different ram and psu and had to ask a friend to let me borrow gpu and i would still have the same shut down issue. Wouldnt wish this upon anyone. Never buying asrock again

You can see in my video that I have rgb running, however in my case there is an RGB on top, now . READ THIS IF YOU HAVE AN 4 PIN RGB. BEWARE THE MANUAL TELLS YOU THE WRONG CONFIGURATION. According to the manual its 12V-G-R-B , and I followed it, now my RGB strip is damaged, in reality the pinout was B-R-G-12V... Now I have a non working RGB, so ignore the manual for that part. and read what it says on the motherboard pcb. My other issue is that I wanted to install a wifi card, however I am unable to remove the IO cover to install the antennas. even though you can unscrew it on the bottom I was not able to remove the IO, just open it a bit. also if you plan to install in the board a wifi card make sure that internal antenna wires you have are longer than 6 inches, 6 inches is not enough to clear out the first PCI slot.

Awesome board simple layout tons of USB ports needed a bios update but other than that great board. Matched with the ryzen 9 5950x with a aio it’s a rocket.

Alors tout d'abord pour l'emballage, c'est bien la première fois que je vois un emballage aussi puissant, vraiment entouré du film à bulle mais plusieurs fois scotché franchement là ils n'ont pas regardé la dépense. Pour ce qui est du carton qui contient la carte mère rien à dire tout est impeccable a intérieur. Alors oui la carte mère est un peu plus cher que la moyenne des autres cartes mères mais franchement quand on la tient dans les mains elle fait vraiment son poids, et on voit que tout ce qui peut refroidir les disques m2 c'est vraiment de l'alu. Alors oui aussi elle date un peu, mais tout ce qu'il y a dedans il y a un disque des autocollants et des vis pour faire maintenir sur le boîtier, car pour faire tenir la carte mère on peut mettre jusqu'à 10 vis qui tiennent sur le boîtier. Il y a des câbles SATA. Un bon carnet d'explication rien à dire au-dessus. Tout et la pour donner confiance en cette marque. Moi j'ai installé Windows 11 dessus, mais par précaution j'ai téléchargé quand même les drivers directement sur la marque as rock. J'ai pu mettre à jour le BIOS facilement. Les logiciels fournis avec sont plutôt sympa et peu nombreux mais très utile. Pour tout ce qui est branchement il y a un branchement USB 3 ,USB 2 ,6SATA ,deux pour les disques m2, et un autre port m2 pour pouvoir mettre une petite carte wifi dessus. J'ai mis 4 barrettes de mémoire pour avoir un total de 64 Go. J'ai branché un watercooling de 240 dessus j'ai mis un microprocesseur AMD 7 5800 x. Une carte graphique un peu basique nvidia 1050. Tout est vraiment bien prévu pour bien régler le BIOS éventuellement pour régler le déclenchement des ventilateurs à une certaine température et une certaine vitesse. Chose qu'on peut faire aussi avec le logiciel. J'oublie sûrement plein d'autres bonnes choses de cette carte. (il y avait même un petit paquet de bonbon avec …) Je ne regrette aucunement mon achat.

Non è possibile aggiornare il BIOS senza cpu e ram, tutto il resto è ottimo... Super consigliata al 100% asrock non ha nulla da invidiare a altri brend, il BIOS è ottimo tutto top

Bin froh den Wechsel gemacht zu machen war auch nötig wegen des Neuen Chip. Super Leistung Einbau war auch leicht, Steckplätze sind genügent vorhanden M2 Steckplatz und 4 Ram Riegel-DDR4 4733 Grafikkarte ist leicht einzubauen gibt nicht viel sagen bin zufrieden.
