I love that they’re in glass bottles and pack a goodness punch! We bought all four flavours. Just wish they did them in mixed packs, like 3 of each in a pack of 12.

I was interested to try these health shots as I suffer from IBS and these are packed with great gut health ingredients. They have quite a kick to them and very gingery in taste. Makes you feel a bit though I wouldn't say they are unpleasant. I haven't been taking them long enough yet to say if they work but as they work out at over £2 a shot i wouldn't be able to take them every day as they are far too expensive.

First time trying this flavour and it’s delicious!

I adore these kind of products (if not their price). I'm very very health conscious, and because of this, pretty fit but that isn't to say I won't jump at the chance to help myself to more fitness, when offered. I could no doubt benefit from supplements from time to time, but do try to get all nutrients from food. This particular 'shot' might not be to everyone's taste, it is pretty tart - but that's a taste I really like, it's the over sweet that has me pulling an offended face. The combination of apple cider vinegar and lemon has a sharpness which I love and the hot ginger roar really makes you feel vibrant and alert. I was smacking my lips at that combination of zesty sour and heat. The ingredients in theory should help to maintain a healthy immune system and be powerfully supportive to gut health - which is of course HUGELY responsible for the maintentance of health, as some vitamins and minerals essential for the bodies ability to fight infection are synthesised by gut bacteria. I don't think I need to take this every day (though if I had unlimited money I might!) but I shall certainly enjoy my little 12 pack over the next couple of weeks. This is something which IF I got a depleting infection, like the dreaded Covid or flu, I would order to help my immune system do its work. Meanwhile, I'll keep taking the whole grains, fruit and vegetables, which I trust keep me from needing to take the tablets! I like their totally natural ingredients, and especially the absence of sweeteners and sugar. ‘Smoothies’ – as opposed to shots like these – are NOT a healthy option, as even if they are ONLY the fruits, juiced, it is the absence of dietary fibre because of the juicing, that absolutely laces them with readily available fruit sugars. I had already tried the ACV Defence, Gut Health, and enjoyed it, though I think it may not be for all tastebuds. Here is a short taste precis: This particular 'shot' might not be to everyone's taste, it is pretty tart - but that's a taste I really like. Pom Passion ‘After Dark’ I must say that flavour wise, these are absolutely the nicest, and, yes, on taste alone I was tempted to drink all three bottles immediately. The natural bitter sweet taste of the pomegranate, with its somehow ‘iron like’ metallic subflavour, is beautifully enhanced by the sweet spice warmth of the cinnamon. Mighty Ginger ‘Fresh Energy’ is the flavour I enjoyed the least, though its warmth/heat is brilliant. This would be the shot to reach for if suffering a shivery cold. The pineapple juice is overwhelmed, flavour wise, by the massive amount of ginger juice, turmeric, chilli and black pepper. Not one for blazing hot summer days, but, boy this would be great for a kick start on a cold day. I’m just disappointed in the sloppy packing of this ‘mixed’ which led to the Baobab Boost bottles being replaced by double ACV Defence. And is responsible for a much lower rating than I’m sure I would have given with a full set of flavours

This Healthy Shot by Unrooted is amazing and is perfect to incorporate into a healthy diet to detoxify and make your gut healthier. It’s been a few days I’ve been taking one of these bad boys every morning and I must say I have felt far more alert and productive throughout the day. Your gut is often regarded as your second brain and this healthy shot has finally unlocked my second brain! :) The bottles are effectively packaged for safe transportation right to your doorstep. The branding is also lovely and really matches the juice inside. The ginger and apple cider vinegar are quite overpowering and leaves a small ting after drinking, but the taste is still pleasant. As for the price, I think it is well priced as this isn’t something to drink every day, but rather to drink all 12 perhaps once every other few months to detoxify and rejuvenate your body. All in all, an exceptional product and well worth the try! :) —————— I have also tried the Mixed case that included three other flavours: Mighty Ginger, Pom Passion and Baobab Boost! I was incredibly impressed with the Might Ginger, and it is now my favourite flavour by unrooted! The strong ginger root taste is enhanced with some Turmeric and Chilli, which certainly gave me a kick first thing in the morning whilst boosting my immune system for the coming winter season. I also felt balanced and energised throughout the day! As for the baobab boost, it is also quite tasty, refreshing and has a nice lemon passion fruit twist. The infused 5% baobab powder which is a powerhouse of numerous important vitamins and minerals, which will keep you levelled throughout the day. As for the Pom Passion, it was my least enjoyed flavour, which was because cinnamon and fruit is traditionally a flavour combo I am not fond of. I did let my family give this flavour a go and they all loved it. Conclusion? An sublime set of pure and healthy sets powered by the superfood Baobab. Would recommend trying the mixed case first, that way you can try all Unrooted flavours before settling for you favourite. Highly recommend brand!
