I have been using Mr Muscle Drain Unblocker on Subscribe and Save for a long time now. I purchase two bottles a month (one for kitchen and one for bathroom) and pour them down the drain, leave for a few mins, a few hours or overnight. I apply it monthly as I have 6 people in the household and the last time I had a clog it was a nightmare, so maintenance of the pipework is more important to me than having my bath ripped apart to unclog the pipes. It is very effective as a maintenance product, as I have not had blocked pipes since I have been using it and it doesn't have a noticeably strong odour. In summary, I am happy to pay around £2.50 to £3 per month to have clear pipes. I would recommend this product.

This stuff is fantastic. I moved into my house and the bathroom sink was disgusting. It was draining slowly and when I removed the push button plug I was appalled at the state of it. I used one bottle and left it for 45 minutes to give it enough time to work its magic. Went back and ran the hot tap and used a brush around the top and it worked perfectly. Will definitely use it in the future as and when needed.

Since they stopped selling "One Shot" acid drain unblocker to the general public, I have been searching for alternatives. This does an "average" job. I used to only need to use "one shot" about once every 3 months. This product I have to use once a month. The acid equivalent to "One Shot" which is still on sale is called "Spirit Of Salts". I have been stung purchasing this though , as sellers are watering the product down and is not as effective as the real thing. Watch out for those sellers , especially the 5 litre containers of "Spirit Of Salts".

Attempting to clear a 99% blockage in a bathroom sink. One day it was working fine, next day almost completely blocked, and i dont know why. The first bottle was tried using the "5minutes method" and i was disappointed - no real difference - 99% block still there. The second bottle I used was left in overnight. At first it seemed no change, but when hot water was run and a little bit of help by pumping my palm up and down on the outlet, and the water started to run away faster than in a long time. As per the instructions i let hot water run for a few minutes, and now i have an unblocked bathroom sink. My recommendation is don't bother about the 5minute method as you will waste the bottle in some cases. Just go straight for the overnight soaking in this gloop, and be patient. 12 hours of leaving it in is all it took. I am amazed it cleared a 99% blockage after i'd used detergents, chlorine bleach etc. to get it unblocked.... Good work Mr Muscle !!!

Bought during Black Friday it worked on my drain in my bath just half a bottle did it, when I shower I don't have a foot bath now lol, my sink in kitchen one the water goes down a fraction and is stinky making me think there's gunk in it, only one owner has been in this house as it's a new build, it could be something stuck down there? It was completed just after Covid, so used the other half in the kitchen so it hasn't worked so much there, I'm thinking sticks you put down once a month so smells see them everywhere . I never put enough in kitchen I think as I thought I it would be the same as bath drain. It's a newly built house during Covid but the stink has always been there since I moved in so could have been the owner before me. I thought it might be the water so I bought a filter that fits in my small fridge freezer and then I bought a years worth of filters as lasts for 60 days which is better for teas coffees and no nasties in the water & in my budget just a idea and was from here. Since I didn't follow the instructions on the bottle to use the whole thing on the sink which may have a stinky blockage. so I'm going to use it all and see if it works.. the bottle is sturdy, was thick m but thick tinlllll enough to go down was satisfying to watch. Once my leg heals as I broke it. I will try the whole bottle next time & edit this review if it works. I didn't mind not having a basin but I do mind my carbon footprint but as I use a scrubber you put dish cleaner in and comes out the sponge. So I got a hamper with a basin full of food from a friend l & still use my sponge thing without using to much dishwasher m and I can fill basin with hot water and just pour it the next day down the drain and hopefully mr muscle & the force of water will work. I read the reviews to keep overnight for better results, and rinse with hot water, very good value for money would buy again for the bath. If it works on the sink then even better as it did get rid of the blockage I don't mind the smell at all. It actually smells nice. I got it next day delivery and so speed was very good. I would have chosen a eco one but sometimes you need the chemicals once in a while. I recycle everything but I'm fussy when it comes to stuff like this. As your buying what you have in your cupboard for things like this. I remember buying paper cat litter and I could have made it myself! Please always look at the eco stuff as if you have time you can do it at home. I use Amazon for heavy things, live I mmmmmmmmm my
