Anyone find any long term solution to trying to flatten the nail/keep it from always curving in?

For permanently fixing a curved in nail bed that causes ingrown toenails only a foot doctor can fix it forever by killing the corner of the nail bed where the curved edges grow to prohibit new growth. My son had this done when he had repeated super painful ingrown toenails. It solved his problem and the toenail looks good.

Can the seller provide me with the instruction manual that was NOT included with the set?

No the seller will not give you instructions because they don't see your problem. One thing you should know is get aquianted with the product, make sure you soak your ties to soften the nail, then apply the item that has 2 arms on each side under toe nail with ingrown. Screw slowly to raise the sides of the ingrown just like stretching a bird's wings. Use your imagination how to prop out the nails away from base.
