25P Drip Irrigation Barbed Elbow Fittings

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: these beige colored ones are the ONLY reliable fittings I’ve found. BUT THERE IS A TRICK to it! Gently warm up the tip of the 1/2” drip tube with a mini torch. The tube will slide on easily. THEN, most importantly, it SHRINKS down on the barbs making an incredibly strong & LASTING connection. Nothing else needed. SERIOUSLY! Try this.

Good quality easy to use

Well built

Low cost and have never come loose or leaked after several years (2+) of use. Not affected by water hammer that can occur on long runs that can pop other fittings out of the end of the tubing. Also easy to remove, unlike most other drip fittings. Not extremely size sensitive like other drip fittings.

The fit is good and it seems solid enough, but it's definitely not as solid as Rainbird. I used these above ground and used the OEM ones below to avoid invisible failures. You get what you pay for, and would recommend for non-critical, visible applications.

Too small to fit U.S. 1/2" drip tubing from at least two different manufacturers (big box and a local irrigation supply shop). These are also not strong enough for a workaround I used on another batch of too-small figure 8's, where I cut the circles so they could expand and fit around the tubing. 3 stars because these likely work perfectly well in other markets with metric (and slightly smaller) drip tube.
