I purchased this without noticing that my factory mirror was not windshield mounted but instead mounted to the ceiling via a bracket.I’m letting everyone know this because it’s even better than factory !Removed old mirror took it to a windshield repair facility so they can professionally glue the metal windshield tab. ($20, worth it)After about 24hrs to really cure, installed by new Master Tailgater 10” mirror and wired it up.Amazing picture quality!!Very easy to install and run the same included rear view camera.The look is as OEM as it gets which is exactly what I wanted.Would 10/10 recommend to everyone!

Overall quality seems good. I went to a local shop and they had nothing in stock. So they recommended this brand. It does everything I wanted. But it is a little quirky. First off it is NOT a touch screen. The touch sensitive area is on the frame below the screen. Touching the screen only leaves fingerprints. Next to get the best view tilt the mirror up to the ceiling to avoid glare during the daytime. Otherwise you will see two images. The directions are translated from Chinese so they aren’t clear. It talks about a long tap on the power button to turn off the mirror. I could not get that to work but tilting the mirror up seems to work better. The front camera pivots so you have to adjust it down.I had a problem with the system and it needed to reboot. Rather than tearing into the dash to unplug it I was able to reset the screen by disconnecting the battery on the truck. What it does well is allows me to electronically adjust the view so that I can see into the bed of my truck and see past the headache rack. Objects are closer than they appear but I can see clearly. Records constantly while driving and makes a good video. It will save on my phone via WiFi. The directions aren’t clear about the slot for the SD card. It goes in on the top. As soon as you put it in you should reformat it to get it to record. Formatting on a Mac or a PC did not get it to start recording. Lastly the app is mostly a Chinese based app but with a bit of patience and experimentation I was able to make it work.

I picked this one because: 1. Full 10" screen as opposed to the 4.5" screen of most others. 2. Replaces the original mirror as opposed to being strapped on the original mirror like of most others. 3. Only one wire from mirror as opposed to the 2 or 3 wires of most others. I was looking for a clean, uncluttered factory looking setup, and this was the best in that respect, and the dash cam is on the "correct" side for left-hand-drive vehicles. The instructions are obviously a direct translation from Chinese, and extremely skimpy for someone not versed in dashcam/backup cam technology. i.e. it mentions the sd card (not included), what kind to get and where to put it, but not WHY you would want one. Apparently there is memory built into the unit, but I have no idea how much. It describes the numerous custom settings available, but again, not WHY you would choose one setting over another. The kit includes a wedge for use on cars without a bracket on the windshield, but there is no mention of what it is or how to mount it. The backup camera brackets are oriented to mount the camera on the underside of the back glass, bumper etc., and the image is upside down if mounted on top of anything. I ended up using double stick tape directly on the camera body. GPS is not included nor an option. Way too much wire (12') provided to connect the mirror with power in any configuration imaginable. 24' to the backup cam. Very good image and overall I'm happy, but it needs some refinement to make it top notch. One big negative is I damaged the rv camera cable sometime after installation. I've emailed twice asking how to get a replacement, and they will not respond to my inquiry. Update: I installed two of these, and both developed the same problem after some time. You can adjust the rear image up or down on from inside. Originally it returned to that position each time you powered up, but over time it quit doing that and I would have to re-adjust every time after start-up. I reoriented the camera manually, but then it was not correct in backup mode. I ended up disconnecting the backup wire, which eliminated the parking lines.

Received this product and it is exactly as advertised. This model won me over because the entire 'rear-view mirror' is the LCD screen, not just a 4 inch portion like many other models. The instructions are simple enough albeit perhaps to simple. It really needs more technical specs so that added accessories are compatible. I am installing this in my motor home because my current rear-view mirror merely shows me the interior of the coach. With this beauty up and running, it'll show what's actually behind me on the road. For this to work, I need an extension cable for the rear camera and while I have submitted two messages to find out which are compatible and recommended, the initial responses have been canned and almost unintelligible nonsense. Currently working with a very responsive support guy to determine which extension cable to get. Hank in Longview, TX

Nice mirror, nice front and rear image from camera but..Tried to replace the rear camera with a licence plate camera due to a positioning problem. "Not possible" as the only camera that works with the mirror is the one that comes with it.The back up guide lines ( that you can deselect in settings) are useless to guide you. They don't line up like a factory installed unit would.

This was a very early Christmas gift to me and it has been the best camera! Very clear picture and video! Great for the value! Highly recommended! I do have a bit of trouble connecting my phone to the camera but I attribute it to my poor internet connection and I’m not really tech savvy!
