I mean, it works in the sense that it will stretch rubber bands, but it does not really "gently" let them go and everything I've tried to use it on the rubber bands destroyed. I tried some shrimp but the bands would either be too tight and break the shrimp in half and cause it to fall off the hook OR it was too big and the shrimp would fall off as soon as the hook it the water with force.It does what it's supposed to, I just haven't figured out what bait in the US works worth a damn with it.

The bands continue to break after just sitting on desk..haven’t even thrown a line yet and it’s already a complete failure..the Bander is a neat idea,only reason for 2 stars

The item broke the first time I used it. Went with a castration tool instead.
