My kids love it. No issues. My tip: leave the plastic in the pen. Do not reverse it out to change colors or put away. Leave the plastic in to put away and feed a new color in behind the previous one (like a glue stick). This way we have never had a problem with the feed. Was a gift for a 10 year old. Was worried about 5 year old wanting to play. With supervision and instruction, 5 year old still burned herself in 30 seconds. But, it was just an ouch and didn't leave a mark. That was the only time. This is a great gift because it encourages creativity and independent crafting for older kids. My 10 year old can play with it for hours. Invest in more plastic right away because the sample colors will run out after a few days.

I used many 3D Pens and mainly they have the same problem after couple of hours. Clogging is the biggest issue for these tools. If it is clogged at a level that neither your filament goes in nor gets out, then you need to check inside. I faced this problem first and then the pen stopped heating. The green light keep blinking for minutes but the nozzle end didn't even get warmer.Its shape is nice and easy to handle, package is good. I used for 2 hours happily but when it is not working any more those dont have a point.

I have zero skills when it comes to drawing or the arts, but when I heard about the Lay3r 3D drawing pen, I thought why not? I was amazed with how super fun it is to use and even if it was my first time to use it, I didn’t have any problems with it. I was able to create drawing after drawing.  What I love most about it is that it allows me to be creative. I can literally create anything that I want. I so love this product and will recommend this to my friends definitely.

My kids absolutely loved the Lay3r 3D Drawing Pen. At first I was hesitant to buy this, as it seemed a bit costly for a drawing pen. But when my kids started using it, I actually found it pretty amazing! Whats even more exciting is the fact that we can create absolutely anything with it and even use it for minor repairs of plastic pieces, amazing isn’t it? I also like the automatic shut off feature of the product because my kids tend to forget things like this so I actually feel safe when they use it even without adult supervision. This is the second model I tried.

Christmas gift for 11 year old. Very easy to set up and use!

Sent it to my nephew and he started using it right away!!

Very disappointed i gave this to my mom as a christmas present and it has a european plug in. It did not say this anywbere in the description.
