Irish Setter, Wingshooter, Men’s, 7", Waterproof, Hunting Boot

2nd pair .Bought the same boots over a year ago. very comfortable, Need a little brake in time and they mold to your foot. True to size. Mabey cleaned and conditioned once or twice in that year time. wear them 6 days a week. and the leather holds up good, Wore the rubber sole smooth but didn't go through. Rubber sole is not slippery on tile. I'm a sheetrocker/painter and i bought these boots because of the rubber sole because when repairing bathroom ceilings i stand on tubs and they can be slippery. Took a bad fall with a regular type wedge sole. I love these boots and are worth the money, thats why I bought them again . hope this helps./

This is my second pair of these boots. They are true to size and comfortable. They keep water out and keep my feet warm and dry. They are perfect for construction work! As with most boots, there is a short break in period, but after that the boot conforms to your foot, fit nicely and are flexible with good traction. The laces are great, but they seem to wear out prematurely. Other than that, they are my go-to boot!! Big Rudy

This pair didn’t have the usual ‘basketball’ leather. That was always a turnoff for a few weeks until they broke in. These are comfortable, warm, and dry straight out of the box. I always recommend a good leather oil or wax to be applied before wearing. Apply again in a month or so.

I ordered these boots because I like a moccasin-toe boot without insulation for walking, not sitting. Only time will tell but I am impressed based on my initial use of the boots. Comfort out of the box was greater than I expected and with several days of use have only gotten more so. Sizing was just right for my preferred type of sock which is not overly thick as a sock chosen for cold season hunting. In past years I have worn boots from Browning, Russell, Chippewa(?), etc. and these boots compare favorably. I must also admit that one of the first requirements for any boot I choose is that the sole be as near to cleatless as is possible. Being a professional outdoorsman most of my working career (which has been a long time now), I refuse to wear a boot that is deep cleated as they are extremely difficult to clean. Tracking mud into the house is a no-no!....enough said. I give the boot four stars as only time will tell if the boot lives up to my initial observation, otherwise I would give it five stars.

These boots are very breathable yet waterproof. The leather is super soft yet sturdy. The soles are of a material that is very comfortable and has high versatility making them great for not only hunting but general work as well. Really enjoying them year round.

These are comfortable out of the box and great for colder weather.

I bought these for my son. He loved them so much that I bought a pair for my husband. He loves them.

Fantastic boot. I've worn these for a few years now, working outside in all weather's, this boot has had to deal with it all. It's grips it wet and snowy conditions, isn't to hot and as long as you don't go above the boot, is 100% water proof. They also look awesome, I love to beat mine up a little bit as when they're new, they're a bit brighter than the pictures show I've found. The only thing I'd change is for redwing to either send 2 pairs of laces with the boots. Or even better, use better, stronger laces as they will snap and fray eventually. But again, that's a small problem and does take alot of wear to do that.
