Pacific Coast Double Down Around Set (2 Pillows) Queen

Read the reviews saying these pillows were firmer than described, but blew past them. Thought maybe folks hadn’t slept on them in hotels, where I’d discovered the brand after literally stripping the pillow cases off to see what this ‘great, soft but supported pillow’ might be. Now, maybe it’s the fact that there were probably hundreds of heads sleeping on those pillows before me that made them feel so wonderful and, by contrast, my own new home pillows feel too firm and hard(ish). Nonetheless, these beauties take some getting used to. Definitely down filled so you can moosh them around, but filled maybe a little too well to make them feel like you dropped onto a big marshmallow. I’m sure over time they’ll become wonderful bed companions and last a long time because the construction is perfection and a terrific investment (FYI: first time out of the box requires a simple short spin in the dryer with a damp washcloth), so I’m keeping them. So I am going to buy a second pair, but this time, the softest mooshiest ones do I can mix things up a bit on my queen bed. I’ve finally invested in a good nights sleep so I’m going to stay with this brand. Sweet dreams, kids:)

Awesome Pillows. I stayed at a Hyatt and they had some of this brand of pillow. I'm not sure if these were the same model number, but I'm very happy with these. I was worried that these were a 'pillow within a pillow' and wondered if you'd feel it.. You can't.. This just feels like a solid chunk of softness. They are very heavy. You can mash them up in a ball or any shape and then just shake them back out to full fluffiness. I have a friend who likes a firm pillow. His firm really means hard.. He doesn't care for these because he thinks they're too soft. These are the firmest down pillows I've ever felt and the next set I order will be the same ones.

My girlfriend and I fell in love with these pillows when we stayed at a Hyatt. They were so comfortable we looked up the tag, wrote it down and then bought a pair online when we got home. I have had allergies to down pillows in the past as a child but I have no problems with these at all. From what I understand they are washed several times by the manufacturer with the thought of making them hypoallergenic. They never go flat like the foam pillows because they are down.Some people talk about mattresses making the difference for a good night's sleep, I am all about these great pillows!

I'm afraid this is a pillow that's good for about a week only. I've purchased many high end down pillows and this is one of the worst. I continually have neck pain from poor support.

We purchased these pillows as a result of a trip to Hawaii. We stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel and loved the beds and pillows there. We took note and purchased a set when we returned home. I believe that there are different categories of firmness that is not clearly disclosed in the description on Amazon. These do not feel as soft as those we slept on in Hawaii. I would say these are a medium or firm pillow. They are still soft and respond like a feather pillow, but just aren't as 'sink in' soft as those in Hawaii. We have gotten used to them and do like them. Giving them 4 stars because the description was not clear about the firmness of the pillows we were receiving.

I stayed at a hotel that had the most comfortable pillows I had ever slept on. I found out that they were Pacific Coast Double Down pillows. I ordered one when I got home and loved it. In the last year I have ordered three more. They are well worth the cost. The one I purchased a year ago is just as fluffy as when I first got it.

I loved the Pacific Coast down pillows I experienced at a hotel in N. California but I could never identify which pillows specifically were used in that hotel. I tried these since they are supposedly used in some of the more high end hotel chains. But with these pillows I felt like Goldilocks. By themselves, they were too flat, doubled together, they were too high. They gave me neck and shoulder pain so I had to return them. I was really disappointed as I was looking forward to the same sleeping experience,

I bought these pillows a year ago and I'm very happy with them. I mostly sleep on my side, sometimes on my back and these pillows provide good support for my neck and shoulders (120 lbs, 5 feet 4 in). I fluff them up every night and aired them during the summer and they seem to hold very well with minimal maintenance. The fabric is very good quality and the down escape ratio is minimal (I sometimes find it on my dark burgundy carpet in the bedroom, but the guilty party may be my duvet).The pillows were more expensive then other options on the market, but I'm very happy with this choice and would buy again. After all, everyone needs a good night sleep.
