used as hose outlet for a bilge pump. good quality and fair price

It is very, very stiff and difficult to manipulate. But it is a hose and it fit on my bilge pump.

This hose isn't the toughest but my last one has held up for 7 plus years. Now they will brittle so if u govto replace the pump it can break if bent to much. Great hose for the price. I didn't use the through hull piece mine is black and finished and still good.

The through the hull fitting is nicely made and threads smoothly. Appreciate the hose clamps. Would be nice if gaskets/washers were included because they are a bit of an odd size.

Better material than available from boating stores.

The hose broke while I was unrolling it from the box. I don’t imagine new hose should be that brittle. I didn’t need the full 6 feet so luckily it broke at a section close to the end. If you buy this package be sure to allow the hose to come to room temperature before unrolling it. Might even be good to lightly use a heat gun/hair dryer to make it more supple. Everything else worked as it should.

The hose is 5 times the quality of the corrugated plastic junk. Smooth on the inside with a thick rubber coating and a wire (possibly plastic) running through it. However... the through hull fitting isn’t finished very well. On a fishing boat no one will care, but on a larger bow rider or cuddy cabin it just looks cheap.

Made in the States. Read about some problems with others not made there.this one fit the bill.

Nice rubbery material, but will not take a sharp bend. Breaks easily.
