I've owned a lot of yoga mats from cheap ten pound mats to hyped "supergrip", organic rubber ones, but this Tatami yoga mat is undoubtedly the one that I've enjoyed the most. It's beautiful, has a delicious natural scent of dried grass/straw and a wonderful continuous crisp and clean feeling. When first purchasing it, I was slightly worried it wouldn't provide enough support/padding for poses on the knees, but it's undersurface is made in good quality antislip rubber so that has not been an issue at all. I am using it for all my home practice ATM and cannot recommend it enough especially for restorative, yin , flows and meditations - for hot or very sweaty power yoga sessions etc. I'd probably cover it with a towel or use a different mat.

Wonderful yoga mat. Extremely well made. Bought it as a present for my wife and went down a treat. Has a lovely feel and subtle grassy sent. Delivery was fast and well packaged.

Beautiful mat with amazing print which motivate me to everyday pratice and meditation. Mat is more suitable for yin yoga (hands and feet are dry). For me is perfect ! Thank you

The mat is beautifully made, lovely natural scent of the tatami grass makes doing yoga even more enjoyable. Slightly rough on the surface for some yoga positions but enough anti slip. I also use it as a floor mat.
