For the tiered one, how big is the opening for a plant pot? what size pot will fit? Is it a cylinder shape for a pot (same diameter) some pots slant.

I placed a 6" pot in the top of my tiered fountain. That's 6" across and 6" high. Fits perfectly. I planted a sweet potato vine in mine and it grew quite well all summer long.
