Best house in the area!!!!
Oh my gosh, I can't even describe how excited I am about this product. I've owned my house for 3 years now...never having owned something that I could decorate properly before buying, I just used what I had on hand (or stole from my parents) and threw it out there as best I could with minimal effort- then would drive through the neighborhood and get jealous by my neighbors properly decorated houses. After a couple cocktails one evening, I decided this year was my year and got to work. I stumbled on this and normally would have passed over it since it costs more than I would ever spend on lights, but fortunately I had a gift card and said screw it. Thanks to this, my house is easily the best & coolest in my very vast, sprawling neighborhood. Seriously, everyone else looks like a joke compared to us! The only choice they had left available color wise were the multi-colored morphing ones. I wanted the bright white ones, but I have a very thick string of LED rainbow lights that have 16 different functions and they totally matched color-wise! When the sun finally went down, I was absolutely blown away by how amazing it looked, especially combined with the other rainbow lights I had. I legit stood at my door staring at my lawn all night. I love seeing the cars slow down/stop to gawk and we get at least 3 compliments every day from passersby or delivery people. One delivery guy said he's seen some amazing displays in his time, but ours was easily the best and most well done. I WIN!!!!About the product: The plug-in chord is VERY long before you get to the first light, which is great for configuring the plugs. There is a copious amount of space between each light. The cord is grass green and totally camouflages with the grass, I mean completely invisible...I highly advise marking the corners of the lawn somehow if you get people that tend to walk through it. The multi-color morphing ones are very slow color changing, almost unnoticeably so, but the subtlety is what makes it elegant! (this is coming from someone who loves all the flashy lights). The set up: I wasn't entirely sure what 1600 square feet would look like, and it is definitely a lot. These lights are on a single continuous string, and as they said in the description, are not connectable end to end. The lights themselves are standard tiny LED bulbs, which I thought would be a problem cuz in the daylight they looked like they wouldn't put out much light. My friend and I spent about 7 hours on this, but that was because I didn't read the box or instructions out of excitement and had no idea how to lay them out...plus I was making my life much more complicated by trying to keep the lights on the spool as I rolled them out.The best way to go about setting them up is to unroll them completely and lay out how you want it to go. I HIGHLY recommend reading the instructions, they have a picture of the best method so that the lights don't line up together, you want them to curve and be able to place the lights between each other for the best visual effect. At first we didn't read anything and I swore up and down that they didn't give you enough stakes to be able to place them on each light, but it turns out that's exactly what you're supposed to do (and yes there were enough for each light). Honestly, the stakes are not really meant for the lights (although they are great quality in terms of sturdiness) and the method they describe for attaching the lights is complicated and did not work well for us, we kept having to go back to lights and put them back onto the stakes. After a long time of fussing with this, I grabbed a bunch of small zip ties we had lying around and attached each light to the stake permanently, which turned out to be one of my best ideas because now we can't lose the stakes next year and we have less steps to follow. My tips:1) Unroll them completely and lay them out before doing anything else2) The stakes should NOT be pushed as far into the ground as they can go, you want them to stick up at least halfway out, with the lights situated on top3) Buy yourself some small zip ties and secure the lights to the stakes! This fixes any slipping if there is tugging and no need to readjust, plus it makes it harder to lose the stakes when taking it down4) Follow the instructions for layout tips!! Do not lay them in straight lines or square patterns, you want the lights to space between themselves in every rowMy picture isn't great quality and it was hard to get the true effect of the lawn, it doesn't do it justice by even half. If I can somehow get a better quality picture I'll come back and update!

Absolutely Stunning!
I ordered my first set of the cool white lights 4yrs ago and tried to order a 2nd set every year since but the company was always out of stock. Initially striking out again this year, decided to order a couple sets of a slow morphing multi colored lights and a set of the blue static (non-changing, steady on) lights since these were in stock. I was mistakenly sent a sparkling warm white lights instead of the blue (see my review for the Blue light set for more details on the exceptional customer service I received in handling that issue). When I went back to order another set of lights, I saw that the sparkling cool white lights were back in stock-Yeah!!! I quickly ordered them and we installed both sets of the sparkling cool white in the front yard-doubling the number of lights from previous years. Despite the first set being used for 4 seasons already, there is no difference in the the brightness or function between the older set and a new one. These are truly quality lights and I’m confident they will provide a unique light display for years to come since the first set has already proven their durability in the harsh Midwest winters. We only put them up a few days ago and we’ve have already gotten multiple compliments on our yard lights from both friends and people you’ve never even met. These lights are even more stunning under a blanket of snow! Last year we had over a foot of snow on top of them and they “sparkled” underneath and looked absolutely magical! This year we bought the multicolored slow morphing and the static blue lights on the side and backyard and I can’t wait to see what they look like under the snow. The company does an excellent job providing detailed information on each of variation of the lights that they sell including how many square feet and # of lights included in each set in their descriptions which I found very helpful in deciding which ones to buy. They also have excellent customer service as mentioned above. If you want to have a unique and truly beautiful light display that’s different from everybody else’s in town, I would definitely recommend getting these lights! I have five sets total (2 Sparkling cool white, 2 slow morphing multi colored and 1 static blue) and love them all!

Not as many lights as expected but works
I thought there would be more lights on the strand or should I say closer together. I put them in my lawn about 2 weeks ago and the stands are holding up so far I like the multicolored lights on the lawn. I'm really hoping once we get some snow that it'll look even better with the halo of light. They've made it through some decent rain so far so it seems to be made well.

Very unique and adds a little extra special beauty
Ordered the slow morphing multi-colored 36-08 yard lights when the sparkling cool white lights were out of stock and liked them so much, I ordered a 2nd set! They cover a large area and put both sets of the multi colored on a long hill on the side and back of the house. I had bought the sparkling cool white lights about 4yrs ago and had been wanting to get another set of those but every year since have been out of stock- those cover the front yard.At first, I was disappointed that the multi colored didn’t come in the “sparkling “ option, only slow or fast morphing. The sparkling ones “twinkle” and look really cool under a blanket of snow. But I have to admit that the slow morphing effect is pretty cool and very unique in that they don’t go dark before changing colors, they slowly “morph” into the next color so there is nonstop color. The area we put these is large enough that it took 3 sets of lights to cover so I ordered a set of the static blue lights and installed them between the 2 sets of morphing lights-resulting in a very interesting light display! No one else in town has anything close to these, but that might soon change since several people have asked where I got them. I already knew these lights were durable and long lasting since the sparkling white ones are currently in their 4th season and still look as gorgeous as they did the first year.
