Lifesource Foods Oat Fiber 500 - 16 oz

This is the only brand of oat fiber I've ever tried and it is wonderful. It's a very fine powder and it works wonders to jazz up my low carb biscuits, fathead pizzas, etc. Its also good to add some "breadiness" to cloud bread. Doesnt add any weird taste at all just improves texture.

This is the first time using oat fiber so I can't compare it to any others. It does mix easily and bread turned out great. Seems great for the keto diet as it didn't spike blood sugar and low carb

I've been working on replacing the almond flour in fathead dough, (omega 6s too high, and too grainy). I wanted to try oat fiber but worried about all the reviews that said oat fiber had a strong taste . . . but this really does not. It has a very very faint, very neutral taste - actually closer to the taste of a Popsicle stick than anything else I can think of. And it worked beautifully! I mixed it with some macadamia nut flour (which I grated myself) and made my best version of keto bread yet! Tuna melts are back on the menu!!

I cannot say enough about this oat fiber! I use it in so many of my keto cooking christian recipes, because it gives such a beautiful texture to breads, cupcakes, muffins, etc. without adding carbs or spiking your blood sugar. I have not found any other product that compares, so this one is a keeper! If you are on keto, you must give this a try, you will absolutely love it!!

Not only did it take several weeks to receive but the outside plastic wrap had powder so there was a leak of the product. Haven't tried it yet.

In addition to using this in my keto friendly muffins I also sprinkle it on my salads. I mix a little flax meal with it. It soaks up the olive oil so it isn't just a puddle on the bottom of my bowl and keeps me regular. This last part is the most important. I have chronic constipation and in spite of consuming psyllium husk, methylcellulose fiber, and other things to help with that it was still a problem. The oat fiber/flax combo seems to work better than the rest (although I do continue with the other fibers). Now sometimes when I'm not having a salad I put the oat fiber in my shaker bottle along with my psyllium husk. Note: always drink added water when consuming fiber to prevent intestinal blockages. I haven't noticed any off tastes to the food I add it too. I have no idea why this works so much better than the other things but I'm glad I found it. I will never run out. I am ordering 2 more bags just to stay ahead.
