I am in an area where you have to pay for every bag you use or bring your own. I have some reusable ones but have had them for many years. Never thought I'd find an equal to or better product almost 20 years later! BUT I DID! These have a removable insert in the bottom which keeps the bag from sagging under weight. These are the perfect usable size, not so large that everything falls over but not so small you'd have to use so many. They hold a ton of weight. I can fill the bottom with can goods and then another layer of cans on top of them. You can even add more if your able to carry the weight of the bag, as it will hold up.I am definitely going to get more so I don't have to transfer them between vehicles when I need them.I have a very bad back which is in need of serious major surgery and both knees need replacements. I can pack (love Lidl stores) and carry these bags easily. They are a little more expensive then the other lighter weight ones but are so worth it. I am actually going to be giving these to people as a gift because they keep complaining about their "crappy and flimsy" bags!I don't second question this purchase at all. One of the best purchases I've made this year. ❤️UPDATE!!It is May 2026 and I am still using these bags. I haven't had one tear or rip; definitely haven't had to throw any out. They do get dirty just from use. So I just wash them in a tube of dish soap and water, NOT TOO SOAPY! rinse them out a couple times and hang them to dry. They look like new. Wish they would go on a deal sometime because I'd buy more for my husband and for gifts. I know plenty of people who could use these. I've had these for a few years now. Don't hesitate to buy these if you need reusable bags. We have to pay for bags here, so these are very convenient.

I’ve used these bags for years and just reordered some new ones because the old ones finally wore out or were lost. These were my favorite because they were large, sturdy, could hold a lot, and the straps were big enough to easily get them over your shoulder. The old version would get 5 stars. This new version I gave 4 but was leaning towards 3. The new version has a thinner, flimsier plastic base than the originals so the base isn’t as firm (important when heavy items are in the bag). In addition, they have reduced the size of the bag straps - the old would extend out 10” and the new only extend 7.5”, makes it hard to get over your shoulder when carrying a heavy bag. I will use the new ones for now but will not reorder in the future.

I purchased these bags to replace reusable bags I previously had. They exceed my expectations, are sturdy, easy to fold and carry, hold much more than the store plastic bags, and nice looking. I love the multiple color. The handles are sturdier than my pervious bags. I occasionally forget to return bags to my car so purchasing 10 ensures I generally have enough bags in my car to meet my grocery purchase needs. I needed a few of these to use as gift bags for very heavy gifts and they worked great. Nice looking, strong, arrived looking good, no wrinkles etc. Nice variety of colors. I’ll probably use the darker ones for groceries etc but am very happy using the other colors as gift bags. With a little colored tissue paper on top they looked nicer than more expensive paper gift bags plus they can be reused for any purpose. Highly recommend.

These are great. Bright bags that are strong and easy to use. Perfect for my weekly shopping trips. The the fact that they are foldable and reusable. Handles are strong.

Like another user, I needed colour coded bags to organize my deep freeze. Red for meat, yellow for poultry, blue for fish (of course) … these are perfect. They stand up straight, and the firm bottoms keep the bags upright and the contents semi-organized. Perfect for the mission! I can now send my husband to the freezer and say “put this in the orange pork bag”. And he does!! The dark colours are less distinctive, but I just label them with some brightly-coloured duct tape.The pack of ten was the right number, at the right price.

Bags are well-made and exactly as pictured, although probably not 'heavy duty'. They'll do the job as long as you don't overfill them!
