Lello 4091 Replacement Bowl

The description indicates that this bowl fits the 4090 model, but it does not.

From a manufacturing standpoint, it's a basic aluminum bowl with a wire handle. You are paying a huge up-charge to own a second bowl that fits your Lello machine

What is there to say, really? It's a spare bucket. Obviously only of value if you have the appropriate Lello ice cream maker.So, is it useful to have a spare bucket? Sort of. Mine does not just collect dust. If I want to make a couple of batches of ice cream relatively quickly, I can do so without washing the bucket between batches. I find it a little more convenient to wash two buckets at one time than to wash one bucket twice. But it's not hard to wash, so it's not like that's a really big deal. And you have to store the spare somewhere, since only one bucket fits into the machine at a time.Mainly I only bought the spare so that if anything bad ever happens to one of my buckets (or I lose it), I don't have to wait around to get a replacement. All in all, this is not a necessary or especially useful accessory for your ice cream maker, but it is exactly what it is supposed to be. So I give it five stars.

I really like that this bucket is really machined so exactly to match the sleeve it fits into. I wish there was a way, after the ice cream is made, to take the bucket out but it's always frozen to the sleeve with condensation. I'm not sure there's a fix for that, however, since it's the laws of physics that accounts for the freezing.

This freezer pail is an exceptional option for your Lello or Whytner ice cream maker. It allows you to make another portion or flavor of ice cream immediately after the first one is done! Highly recommended if you and your family and friends enjoy frozen delights like custard, ice cream, sorbets, chilled juice blends and so forth!

If you're planning to make more than one quart of ice cream or gelato per day, then this replacement bowl is a must-have!
