Nice Home Owner/Hobbist Meter
I bought this on the recommendation of Dave Jones from EEVblog, not disappointed. Has lots of functions, not too large, leads seem adequate. Has a lot nicer build quality and is more accurate than super cheap meters. Good all around meter with functions for house hold electrical systems, automotive, and electronics. Keep in mind there are better options for more specialized uses such as an electrician, industrial support, electrical engineer, etc. But as a all rounder that doesn't break the bank I think this is hard to beat.

Great Meter
Very happy with this meter. OK: I am not a digital multimeter expert, (this is my first meter), but after much research, this seemed like the best value in this price range. Seems quite accurate to to me. Testing voltage, continuity, resistance, etc. The autoranging feature is nice - glad I opted for that. You can switch to manual ranging, although I found this a bit confusing. You'll see the goodness of autoranging once you use it. The temp probe was missing when received. However, a quick message to Extech solved that. They sent me one promptly. I have to say, FLIR/Extech customer service is excellent! Also, I read a complaint somewhere about the stand being too flimsy - it's is built into the orange cover. But I think it's fine - it's a stand for the meter. It works. I mean if you were to pull on the leads while using, then yes, I suppose you could knock the meter over, but I have not had this problem. The leads seems good. I also read where getting replacement higher quality leads can be helpful. But the stock leads are great so far. Highly recommend!

Good, cheap DMM with some battery harness problems.
I do a fair amount of electrical work for my job so I have experience with electrical equipment. Needed a cheap meter that I could keep at home and had enough features to cover a wide array of home and vehicle projects. At a cheap price, this fills the role nicely. Works as advertised and shipping was fast. The only reason I give this 4 out of 5 stars is due to the battery harness which does not appear to hold the batteries as well as one would hope. Impacts to the meter, (In this case dropping the meter face up from about a foot or two off the ground) can cause one or more of the batteries to come dislodged. A swift hit in the opposite direction is enough to jostle the batteries back into position. While not a deal breaker, this can be annoying. A simple fix, I have found, is to simply place a nylon washer or plastic spacer between the battery cover and the batteries. I find it strange a problem this noticeable and easy to remedy made it past quality control. Also its worth noting the leads for this are simple touch probes. I have seen other, similarly priced, DMMs that come with interchangeable probes and alligator clips. For whatever reason I thought this meter was going to come similarly equipped with both test lead and alligator clips. This is not a fault with the meter or seller, just something I thought I would point out.

Excellent little multimeter for the house and hobby digital electronics ...
Excellent little multimeter for the house and hobby digital electronics work. This multimeter is a serious step up from the cheap auto parts meters but much cheaper then a comparable Fluke. I personally prefer Fluke but couldn't justify spending two or three times as much money for what I needed it for. Speaking of, I have used it for home wiring projects, electronics repair, testing batteries, temperature readings, and resistance/capacitance testing. All readings were within expected ranges however I don't have more precise reference equipment required to check ranges/tolerances. It's certainly accurate enough for my purposes. Pros: - Price - Stock leads are quite nice and ~4' long plus a temperature probe was included - Auto ranging works very well - A lot of useful functions (described nicely in the product description) including auto off - Kick stand is very convenient for bench top testing Cons: - None really, it does exactly what I expected it to. Features like True RMS reading would be nice however it's hard to expect features like that for the price of this multimeter. I would strongly suggest getting Extech TL809 Lead Kit just for the alligator clips. When you are on the top of a ladder being able to clip one or both wires may save your life!

The meter is nice and compact with decent build quality for the price
The meter is nice and compact with decent build quality for the price. Voltage, current, resistance and temp were spot on in my tests. NVC worked ok. Capacitance was unusable though. Not sure if it's a luck of the draw with this meter, but I need capacitance to work so it's a deal breaker for me. The protective sleeve on the temp probe that came with mine was frayed right out of the box. It's a shame as I had high hopes for this lil meter...

Funktioniert gut, für den Preis wertige Verarbeitung,

Very reasonably priced quality product. One of the best Multimeter second to Fluke.

Piccolo e leggero, ha i caratteri grandi . Si spegne opportunamente dopo 15 minuti di no utilizzo. Preciso e veloce.

I wanted an inexpensive autoranging multi-meter to replace my aging Beckman that I bought when I was still in collage. Have done some basic tests with the meter and it seems to be fairly accurate and fully functional. This unit (EX330) does just about everything my older meter did at less than half the price (actually much less than half if you adjust the dollar value). The unit is easy to read. The supplied probes seem adequate but, I have also ordered the Extech TL809 Electronic Test Lead Kit ( https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0012VWUI6/ ) This also comes with a temperature probe, but it seems a little bit on the fragile side so it should probably be used with care in order not to break it. The meter feels fairly solid and well built, though I wouldn't advise just tossing it around. The non-contact high voltage dectector is a nice touch. This was one of the 5 inexpensive meters that Dave L. Jones @ EEVblog reviewed on YouTube and for its price range faired quite well. Now, don't expect this to replace an upper end meter like a Fluke as it is not in the same class. For general or hobby usage this should be fine as, according to the EEVblog, it should be fairly safe to use.
