Good Quality, Long Lasting Rubber, Great Fit, Non-Slip on Snow
These menโs ice cleats were perfect in the snow and icy weather conditions. The Lrg/X-Lrg was a perfect fit for a Size 11W boot. Made out of heavy duty rubber and the cleats held up pretty well, no problems. The front and back fit snug and tight on the boot so that it doesnโt come loose or fall off, although extra cleats are provided. Reliable, durable, good value. Highly recommend.

Great Product - Especially for Old Geezers in Cold Climates
I've used a pair of this brand and style for over a decade. Bought a pair for each of my winter boots to replace the pair that finally failed after those years of service. Unlike the coil-type grippers, these work on hard, glare ice. The traction's incredible and the studs wear very well. You get some spare spikes, but I never needed to replace those on my old ones. They're a bit of a bear to stretch on the first time, but they won't come off even if you're a power walker of occasional jogger. Get these if you live in the Northern tier.

Good product.
Great even in water on top of ice. I can stride confidently and get done what I need to do outdoors in Alaska in all icy situations Iโve encountered. Has not accidentally come off while trekking in deep snow. These are slightly more taxing to put on than other styles but would prefer that over them coming off unintentionally. They are easy to remove when needed. I like that the spikes are not massive and are still easy to walk in on hard surfaces like concrete or wooden steps. I like that replacement spikes are included although in over a decade with this brand (2 separate pairs) have not had to replace any. Only reason for removing a star is because in my semi truck I can not drive and wear these. I have to remove them before taking off. I jump in and out often so taking them off and on every time is not ideal. There aren't many styles that are comfortable to wear while I drive my big rig so while this is a minor annoyance, it would not prevent me from purchasing again. I have succeeded to wear this brand in a different style meant for regular shoes instead of boots.

Great Traction, Great value.
Worked great for hiking and walking on slippery ice as well as chunky frozen snow. Durable, holding up to several hard hikes in addition to walks on pavement for miles. Better than expensive microspikes from the outdoor gear store.

Reliable grip on ice
This is the 3rd set of these that weโve owned over 10+ years. They last a long time, actually have only had one break in the 6 pairs weโve had. Great traction on rough or smooth ice, providing very secure footing. Fairly easy to put on, but you do have to stretch it over your shoe or boot. It can be a challenge to put them on if you have trouble bending or dexterity issues. But, I am 65 and have Reynard syndrome hands, along with arthritis and can still manage them. You can buy replacement cleat inserts as thes have come out on rare occasions (usually when the cleats are older and only on rough terrain). But, Iโve found it cheaper just to replace the whole pair. Overall, these are the best ice cleats for walking or running that weโve found. We use them regularly in northern Canada winters, and would buy them again.

I HAD MAJOR DIFFICULTY PUTTING THESE ON!
My Experience: I wear 9 - 9.5 shoe size. Had difficulty with other competing types when ordering what seemed to be my size (couldnโt fit over shoe). For this order I went with Large/Extra Large figuring I could work with โlooseโ fit. I could NOT fit these to 2-3 pairs; too short to fit no matter what I did. Kept checking the label and it said they were L/Extra L !!! Was going to return but finally found spare pair of sneakers that took me a really LONG time to stretch the cleats onto them. Have left them joined together for life!! Do not know WHY I have this difficulty, but wanted to report it!

Good on snow and ice for running
Just took these out for a snowy and somewhat icy run. Felt way more secure with them on than I would have. Comfortable and held up well even when I stepped on the dry pavement too. Solid product.

Very bad design - get YakTrax SnowTrax instead
This turned out to be a very bad design. The toe area is not bad, but the heel is almost impossible to get on and off any larger shoe size. You can even see from the photos that the heel band sits flush against the back of the shoe. This will happily pinch your fingers as you put it on, and provides no way to get a solid hold to pull it off, which you must do before entering any indoor area, or the carbide spikes will scratch up even bare concrete floors, and destroy wood or vinyl or anything similar. Hard to remove even with bare hands, impossible with gloves on. I would strongly recommend you skip these and take a look at YakTrax SnowTrax, the ones with the same carbide spike design. Not the regular ones with what look like springs wrapped around the rubber bands. Those are great on snow but for hard ice they are basically useless. The SnowTrax has rubber loops that stay sticking out on the heel so that you can quickly and easily get your fingers through them and remove the cleats with very little difficulty, maybe even with gloves on. And they seem to be easier to stretch onto larger shoes without so much effort. I tried to stretch these Due North G3 cleats with some reversed shop clamps, but even after stretching a pair so far that one split at the toe after leaving them overnight, it seemed to make no difference in how hard they were to stretch. Avoid.

We couldn't have done without them
These were so useful on our trip to Northern Norway. Without them on, people were slipping and even falling over on the compacted ice. We could walk with confidence in our grippers. You have you take them off when you go into buildings. They pull over the bottom of your boot. Once you get the hang of putting the toe end on first and then pulling towards the heal, they are reasonably easy to get on. To take them off, you just pull down from the heal. A brilliant purchase and not expensive either. This product comes with 2 spare spikes.

Great product! Positive experience!
Amazing product! Saved our butts as well as our egos when walking in ice! So easy to put on and take off, and super light and roll up small when not wearing them! Would 100% recommend! Must buy for all who prefer to remain vertical when walking on icy tracks! ๐

Game Changer!
After taking a nasty spill on ice and sustaining an injury a 5 years ago, I looked into some options that would help make walking on ice safer. This product came highly recommended, so I decided to give them a go. I am SO glad I did! They are a total game changer. Whether I'm walking my dog or just walking from the vehicle to the house, store, etc., I walk on icy surfaces with confidence. I love how there are spikes under both the front and the back of the foot. They are MUCH more comfortable and effective than the ones with the coils. A tip is to be mindful when transitioning from the outdoors to the indoors (grocery store, etc.), as they can be slippery on the floor. I found that after a few waddles, I was good to go. :) I wear a women's size 9-10 and the M/L fits well. Highly recommended!

Cheap but effective
I wore these out on an 18 mile hike in West Lothian Scotland. Ice. SO much ice. There were people slipping and falling all around me. I witnessed 7 falls, one with a bleeding head as a result. I did not slip wearing these. I wouldn't go jogging in them, but they performed very well and were easy enough to get on and off. I would definitely recommend these as a good entry level ice cleat or to have on hand for emergency.
