It has good grip for the birds however cleaning it is quite problematic since the bird poo gets stuck between the grains of sand and has hard to remove

It isn't recommended for our winged pets since they tend to use their beaks on the log...and who knows what kind of toxic paint they use.

Not bird safe
The sand has been mixed with glitter and then stuck onto a wooden perch. Glitter and glue both aren’t bird safe.
