Plants are still alive and growing a few months later. With the texas heat I have to water them everyday. They dry out pretty quickly but they do look good on my patio. 1 photo is from when I first planted them and second photo is from today. In one planter I have perennials and the other I have annuals. I don't expect the annuals to live through the summer but we will see. Definitely makes my patio more inviting.

I'm a big fan of square foot gardening as I only have a balcony. I needed to start expanding vertically to make space but also for plants that can't take direct sun. These are wonderful! My plants love them and it high quality and easy to use! Great price!

This is nearly impossible to keep watered. If you slowly pour water into the double-layered envelope/pouches that the plants are in, it leaks out through the felt within a second. I can water plants drip-by-drip or by removing them all, placing them in a water-filled bucket, then putting them back in the wall mount after they've drip-dried. Either way, watering shouldn't be a 30-minute process, and half of the houseplants have died since they dry out so quickly (I provide a thorough watering 2x/week, by which time they have become bone dry). I've since replanted them into pots and doubt I could return this since I tried to stick it out past the 30-day mark (although if I'm wrong, I would love the chance to return)... I also don't want to try reselling because I really don't think this is a quality product.Aside from the watering issue, they design it so that felt "envelopes" with the plants are created so they can be easily rearranged within the pockets, but I find this just makes the plants' growing space that much smaller (the envelopes are not the same size as the pockets no matter how you fold them), makes it messier, doesn't help with water retention, and makes the pockets sag outward a bit.A cool idea, but needs to be made of a different material.

Just what I was looking for to add interest to a blank patio wall. It's a bit spartan as it comes, so I had a friend make a frame for it and attached chains and hooks so that I could hang the frame from the ceiling rafter. There is a removable dowel so that the entire planter can be removed. Also, this protects the wall from moisture. It was easy to add plants to the little pocket envelopes and they will be easy to change if desired.

Plants planted in it were drying out too fast in an area that gets some midday sun, but mostly shaded in the morning and evening. If you can water in the middle of the day or have this in a more shaded area might be good. Full sun plants were showing signs of wilt. It I left the plant in its plastic pot, and stuck it in a pocket, they were fine but the pots stuck out. The water wicks out and evaporates too fast with just the felt planting liner. May try experimenting with plastic bags.

I've been mastering the art of growing plants instead of accidentally killing them, and using this vertical garden planter is my next challenge.The planter arrived super fast, it looks exactly as pictured, it is sturdy and is NOT some cheapo piece of fabric like I was a little afraid to receive.I need clear instructions to set up anything, and I give up easily, but looks like these guys read my mind and included step-by-step instructions with photos - thank you for that! I'm excited about setting up my wall of plants, if I do a good job and they all survive, I will post a photo of my artwork in a couple of months.

This was fun and I'm happy with my results. The instructions were easy to follow and the root wrappers were definitely a must. Can't wait to order more and make an entire wall. Will update with photo soon.

This is awesome. Helps make our fence look so much better. It's fun to fill it up. And easy maintenance. Just keep it really watered.
