Can you get the attachments separate? I could do with the hedge trimmer attachment for mine.

I mentioned this to somebody who works as a grounds man. He pointed out that the design with the cowhorn handles doesn't really let itself to this sort of use.

Is there a oil sump on the hyundai Euro V engine?

No. 2stroke engines don't use a sump, lubrication is provided by the petrol/oil mix

Would this strimmer be suitable for a badly overgrown lawn that hasn't been cut in two year and may have brambles growing in it?

This is a 52cc engine and with the Tri blade fitted it will swipe through 1 1/2" bramble stems. Long or very tall grass can swirl around the head if you don't keep the cutting height low, stay close to the ground. The blade guard became a hinderance when in brambles only, it kept snagging on cut brambles so clear cut brambles away from the cutting area, easier said than done. This has been the best device for clearing brambles. Just be careful where the cutting blade goes. Hope this helps.
