Two screw heads broke off
There are three problems. First, the brackets are shaped pretty well but I still had to bend them a little with pliers to sit flush on both surfaces of the hinge. The second problem is that the provided screws are low quality and the heads of two of the four screws broke off while I was tightening them. These are being screwed into plastic and I had even drilled pilot holes to make room for the screws and two heads still broke. The other problem is the screw heads are countersunk style (flat on top with conical funnel shape underneath) but the holes in the brackets are just straight drilled. So the bottom of screw head has no where to 'sink' into and would just sit on top, sticking out a bit. I used a drill bit (on reverse) to bore out a bowl in all 4 holes in the brackets to make room for the screw heads to sit more flush. Otherwise there wouldn't have been enough clearance for the glove box door to open and close without the screw head catching. MY ADVICE TO YOU - the brackets are shaped well, that's valuable. Use higher quality screws instead of what you get with the brackets and consider boring out the holes so the screws can sit more flush. Last, use some JB Weld or other glue over the bracket to reinforce it even further.
