I use this tool to punch markings in sewing patterns and it works very well. I can’t attest to it’s leather cutting abilities, but it punches through paper very well.

The wood handle looks pretty but they should have used plastic and built in storage into the handle for the tips.My handle has a split in the wood near the tool tip. Wood splits, so this isn't too much of a surprise, but it is also why I say wood was a poor choice.The drill comes with six different sized tips, which is great but there isn't a place to store them, which isn't so great. The tips are small and will be easy to loose.It would also be better if the tips had the hole size stamped or laser etched on the side for easy identification.

The media could not be loaded. I used the punch for marking sewing pattern tracing paper. For this purpose, I would give it 5 stars. My hands are fairly strong, no arthritis, etc. It took both of my hands to punch a whole through the thin paper. One hand to hold the paper and one hand to put sufficient pressure on the punch. I don't think I could use this punch to create a hole in leather.

This is a piece of junk. Worked one time. A few weeks later when I wanted to use it again it didn’t work.return window has closed. Looked for address to contact seller. Couldn’t find. Don’t waste you money. Would give zero stars if possible.

The gold piece “rotating orbit” fell off the first time I used it.I bought it to punch holes in paper patterns.
