Usually I find one or two recipes in each book that are winners, but the rest don't do it for me. But this book is full of winners! I've made about eight different recipes so far from the book, and every one of them was delicious, easy and quick, with simple, easy to find ingredients (in fact a lot of the ingredients are pantry staples). Because the weather is hot, I've concentrated on the stir-fry and one-pot dishes; I haven't even started on the ones involving an oven. I'm looking forward to getting into those this fall and winter. I look for recipes that are low-cal and while all of the ones in this book are, they certainly don't seem like "diet food." My husband, who isn't concerned with calories, agrees that these are some tasty meals! I love this cookbook so much! If you're on the fence about it, go for it, you will not be disappointed! It's the perfect go-to cookbook for anyone who either doesn't have the time to spend all day in the kitchen or anyone who doesn't choose to spend all day in the kitchen, yet wants to eat delicious and healthy meals. Each recipe has a full colored picture of the finished dish, which is always the most important attribute to me in a cookbook. Going beyond that, the book is sectioned into no-cook recipes, recipes with 5 ingredients or less, recipes in 15 minutes or less, recipes in 30 minutes or less, vegetarian recipes, gluten-free recipes, single serve recipes, and family size recipes. And this cookbook continues on with the tradition of other Hungry Girl cookbooks that require very few ingredients (most of which are easily substitutable for another ingredient) and minimal steps to complete the meal, making these recipes very budget friendly and quick to prepare. I highly recommend this cookbook, Lisa Lillien once again makes life easier for me! Thank you, Lisa and the entire Hungry Girl team for all the work you put into this. I love it!

Most Used Cookbook I Ever Owned
I first picked up this cookbook at my local library. There were so many wonderful recipes! I had to buy my own copy! It is used often and well used! The recipes are healthy, easy to make and most of all delicious!!!

Delicious AND Easy
I have tried 3 recipes from this book so far and all were tasty and incredibly easy to make! The expanded table of contents makes it so easy to find what you are looking for, not to mention the color coded pages. Beautiful photos with every recipe AND nutritional information which I personally love and need. There is something for everyone in this book, and I appreciate the focus on what I think are healthy, whole food ingredients. I look forward to trying out the many recipes that make my stomach growl, just by looking at the picture:)

Great recipes
I’m glad to the reviewer who mentioned this being one of their most used cookbooks and have to agree. I absolutely love the layout. It’s a nice cookbook to try different recipes.

My Favorite Cookbook
I absolutely love this cookbook. As another review mentioned, there is a large color photo of every recipe and the recipes are so easy and simple. It's usually stuff I already have on hand and they come together very quickly which is great for my family with two small kids. We've made probably close to 10 recipes so far and they all have been really good and the best part is that they are healthy! The chicken marsala, creamy salsa chicken, garlic steak and potatoes, Hawaiian BBQ pork and sesame chicken were amazing to name a few. Really happy with this purchase and highly recommend!

Quick & Delicious!
It was everything I was hoping for. The recipes are quick & easy, and most important, they taste good. I would recommend this cookbook to anybody who wants good tasting healthy food quickly. There is something for everybody.

What a great recipe book! So many recipes and they are all easy to make. This cookbook covers it all, vegetarian, gluten free, salads one pot meals, 15 min and 30 min or less recipes. I highly recommend this cookbook.

Came with black and white recipe photos, which we didn’t mind. However, since this was regarded as not as advertised, a second volume arrived with beautiful colour photos. This was much appreciated. My wife loves the recipes in this book.

I watched a Hungry Live on Facebook tonight and she made a recipe from this book, Fast and Easy. In the book she used the food pictures were in colour, why are mine in black and white.
