Ssd easy to fit although is not completely secure until the lid is slid on. Otherwise perfect. Good quality and 2 different USB cable types supplied. Very happy with purchase.

Its works very well but the screw driver that was supplied was to big for the screw that held the m2 ssd in place

So far so good. Similar to other NVMe drive cases that support transfer through Thunderbolt/usbc port. Case is nice. Aluminum. Good venting (as drives at this speed get hot). Am getting 955mb up and down through my MacBook Pro so really happy with transfer speeds (double usb3) for working in Final Cut Pro X. Includes two style cables which is nice. Good purchase for the $.

Molto versatile

I read and did a lot of research on these types of adapters. Yes it does get a little warm, but that is not a show stopper. It is a tool less adapter, comes with a usb-a to usb-c and a usb-c to usb-c cable. It is meant for type M M.2 drives and personally I used it on a 2tb Samsung Evo and it took right at 45 minutes to copy 500Gb (OS, programs and saved data) to this drive using Mini-tool partition wizard. Using this software you leave the current drive in the machine and use this adapter for the new drive. Once everything is copied over, shut down the machine, install the new drive and you are done. This software does come with a price but it’s worth it, would I recommend this adapter to a friend, absolutely positively yes.

Fast, but gets quite hot in use for samsung 500gb NVMe. Works for transfer, I'd worry about the heat for long term usage with that SSD. Also note that it changes the device ID so that Samsung's software doesn't see it as a Samsung SSD.
