My iphone 13 pro max has magsafe, can i use it without the metal plate?

I have the 12 pro max and it worked fine with out my case on it. When the case is on it tends to slip down. I placed the small metal circle at the bottom of my case and it works great and still allows for wireless charging.

Does it swivel or is your phone stuck in a fixed position once you put it in the mount?

It does swivel and tilts. It comes with a screw that you can use to thighen the position. However, I prefer to leave a bit loosen so that I can change the orientation on the go

Does this car phone mount easy to fall off in driving? I don't want to break my phone.

This phone holder is small and compact and snugs right up on the car vent. It is barely noticeable. I put it on my vent and it stays there. It does a great job of holding my phone
