Perfect parts for my gardening needs. Worked well.

Easy to use. Solid brass fittings that are are durable. I did fine that the female connector leaks slightly. That can be fixed by using some Teflon tape first around the male fitting; easy enough fix. The leak can be caused by the older fitting being worn down over the years. But good fitting.

The male fitting is loose and wobbly when inserted into the companion fitting - not what I am used to with these type of components. But they do not leak (yet) - guess the rubber O ring seats well against the inner bore. Time will tell if the loose & wobbly fit up shortens the o-ring life and they go to leaking...

well built, certainly more durable than the plastic ones available at big box stores. easy to install and they don't leak. it's good to have a package with both male and female versions.

I replaced my leaky plastic quick couplers with these solid brass couplers and NO MORE LEAKS. I should have bought these in the first place.

I received these – a great deal . However there is plenty of surplusage when used with a 1/2 inch barb. They are too small, may be up to to 2-3mm in excess to fit a 1/2" barb. Outside of that, they seem to be well made, include a rubber washer and have 4 different tightening threads, 2 which you can tighten without a tool and 2 with which you can with a wrench. With thin silicon tube and a tight clamp, you may get by without leakage, but with thicker hose material, you may experience leaking . Shrunk the hose barb.. . badddd. UPDATE: If you tighten the hose clamps before use each time, it stops the leaking issue: So I’d give this four stars.
