If you've got a viney plant that likes to climb, these clips are just the ticket to get them started on your trellis, or whatever it is your plant is growing on. For years, we've been using improvised solutions to get our clematis started on its trellis each year (twist ties, twine, you name it). These cheap little clips are awesome to help those shoots get started, and they're much kinder to tender shoots than alternatives. I wish there were more small clips than big clips in the package, but that's OK. The clips themselves are not very sturdy; given their purpose, they are small and fragile. These are expendable items, cheap enough that you don't need to worry about breaking a few, or worry about collecting all of them you place. For service this delicate, it is expected that the clips will break or come apart with use. Nothing wrong with that; priced as they are, just buy a new box when you run out. Recommended.

I bought a bunch of these from the dollar store, and thought I had more than enough. Then I ran out… 😐 I found these here, and was really pleased as they have been really helpful to clip up my tomato plants, melon plants, gourd vines, and even my sunflowers. They do sometimes pop apart when the stems grow really thick or there is other movement, but you can easily put the 3 parts back together. Of course since they are mostly plastic they do break sometimes. Fortunately you can combine the unbroken pieces to make fully functional clips.

These are the best clips that I've yet used for plants. I'm running low on the box that I bought since I keep finding uses. The sizes included are well suited for use in training plants, retaining tubing, and even general utility use. I've grabbed some quite a few times just to have in the pocket while working since they are useful for quickly holding a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Even the parts that are just for support end up being useful; I've slung lines through the steel ring to use them as impromptu adjustable hangers and they worked a treat. Other uses aside, these clips are wonderful at grabbing and holding plant bits without causing damage. Recommended. These clips are versatile, very plant-friendly, and economical. Great tools to have in the gardening toolbox.

These came in handy with my 9 cherry tomato plants. I wish I had got them sooner along with my stakes. Next year I'll be better prepared. They seemed well made and sturdy. Very easy to clip a branch to a stake. For $10 i found it worth the money.

These work great! They keep my tall plants, like tomatoes, standing tall. The kit comes with two sizes to accommodate a variety of plant sizes, I clip them to bamboo poles in my garden.

Spring clip part works well. But, it will not clip and stay on the common plant stakes. The clip does not fit tightly on anything. In the photo notice how the clip looks to de cup shaped. it should close to perfectly round. Nope

As described. Work well so far. No sign of sun damage yet (had for about a month in 35c + temperature). Will be repurchasing.
