I recently broke my wrist and found the Velpeau Arm Sling Shoulder Immobilizer to be incredibly helpful. It keeps my hand secure and in place, providing much-needed support for my injury. The sling is both comfortable and versatile, as it can be used on either the left or right arm, making it convenient for anyone who may need it.The instructions were a bit sketchy but still manageable. One feature I particularly appreciate is the color-coded straps: yellow for the left arm and green for the right. This makes it easy to adjust and ensure the sling is set up correctly. The sling arrives pre-set for the right arm, but it can be easily adjusted for the left.Inside the harness, there’s a strap designed to prevent the soft material from stretching, which is a thoughtful addition. I also like how my arm rests comfortably in the sling and how it doesn’t slide out of position. Overall, this sling provides reliable support and comfort during my recovery.

The comfort of waring this sling is amazing. It gives my arm the support it needs. I even wore it at night to sleep in. It's a great product to have, because you never know when you are going to need one. And it even adjusts for comfortable positioning. This sling gives me the pain relief I need too. The velcro strength is adjustable, and you get the value for the money.its a great design. And it's not too weighty.

Overall, I like the sling. The design distributes the weight and pull across your back and shoulder instead of directly on your neck. That makes such a huge difference in comfort, especially if you’re going to be wearing the sling for more than a day or so. Mine came without instructions, but I’d already figured out how to wear it and how to convert from the instructions that came with another one the day before. Why two? Turns out this sling runs small. I first ordered the size that worked for me using the directions and measurements. That turned out to be too small. If you run close to the upper edge of the measurements, you’ll want to order the size up for it to fit. it was a little tricky to figure out how to convert it from right to left, but once I got it, the larger size fit perfect and really was comfortable. I would recommend this sling to anyone who is going to be wearing a sling for some time, especially for surgery recovery or shoulder recovery. The fabric is nice and soft and breathes well. It’s a good buy at a good price.

My man had a torn bicep tendon surgery. This sling is super comfortable and great support all day. Also best thing that the strap is not rubbing on the neck because the strap is across the back and down the shoulder avaoiding neck area. Very good quality ! Highly recommend. Arrived fast as well.

I bought a black vonfort one and it was super easy to put on myself. The blue breathable ones (I bought 2) both have the strap sewn at the top in the back which makes it impossible to get on. It's terrible. The black comfort one is very comfortable. Three stars for inconsistency between the 2 options.

I was sent home from the hospital 8 days ago with a standard issue sling that I am supposed to wear for 4 to 6 weeks following shoulder replacement surgery. It became very apparent that if I was going to comply with doctor's orders, I needed something that fit me better. I'm in a larger body so I looked at the measurements and an XXL looked like it would work.It's taken me a few days to figure out all the different adjustments, particularly since it comes set up for a right arm and I need it for my left. But now that I'm there, this sling is great. It's soft, the Velcro holds really well, and it's making being in a sling nearly 24x7 more tolerable.

I just had bicep surgery. The sling they gave me in the hospital was horrible, so I quickly went to amazon to find something better. Its east to switch from left to right. (colored stitching makes sure its set up properly). With the cross back strap it takes the pressure off your neck and arm. The bottom strap secures it tight to your body so your arm isn't flopping around. The sizing is a little odd. I am 5'9" 190#. i ordered a xxl as the measurement from the elbow to my hand lead me to purchase that size. Only problem is that the bust is way too big. That's the only additional adjustment that could be added/improved upon.

This product appears to run small. My mom suffers from arthritis in her shoulder and a sling immobilizes movement which minimizes the pain. She is 4’11” tall and weighs 158 pounds. Based on other reviews I sized up and bought the large. It just fits her! I’m 5’8” and it’s too snug and short on me, I would have to get XL or larger. Once on, the sling is comfortable and the second strap that is behind you and loops over stabilizes the sling comfortably.

The seller advertised about velpeau sling, which according to him would support my shoulder my shoulder injury, but sent me a totally different caretex brand arm sling which was of cheap quality and did not serve the purpose. For this I waited for one week, but Thank you Amazon, you understood my plight and agreed to refund the amount and I sent it back to the reseller. Don't trust the reseller.

It's a great immobiliser sling. Worked well for me after shoulder surgery. Unfortunately it took a longer than promised time to arrive.

The arm sling so much better than the one the hospital gave me. It is very adjustable and sits very securely. It has made a difference to the pressure spots on my arm from my previous sling.
