Classic Joe™ Series III 18-inch Charcoal Grill & Smoker, Red, with Cart, Side Shelves, Grill Gripper, and Ash Tool, 3 Tier Cooking System, Stainless Steel Cooking Grates, Model KJ15040921

Do it. Just buy it. You won’t regret it.

Ive owned gas grill and small weber smokey mountain smoker only. They serve their purposes good enough but i wanted to really get into this hobby of bbq. I got this kamado joe classic 3 through fantastic deal which gave me 500 dollars off. I was worrying a bit about delivery since it was being delivered by 3rd party due to sizes and the weight. It was a bit inconvenient but regardless they delivered the package safely in somewhat timely manner considering the size of the grill (took me 2 weeks and i did not pay for shipping). The grill itself is truly the king of the grill. Ive never used kamado style grill before but I was constantly amazed how well it retains the heat for long time. Easy to clean and maintain too. This product speaks quality. 2000 dollar price tag is not a joke but think about what you are getting yourself into. This product is for serious bbq enthusiasts for sure unless you are just rich af.

Very nice grill. Assembly was simple, the recommendation to have two people to lift the grill into the base is a good one. Fired it up and cooked some chicken, nice even heat, very stable temperature over time. Easy to make find adjustments to the airflow and by extension the temperature. Rack, fire basket and all ceramics are very high quality, no issues at all. Second night I cooked a pizza on a pizza stone set on the top rack. Came out great. After assembly, the most important thing to Reid this is not a gas or electric oven. Give it time to warm up, and it will yield wonderfully delicious results.

We previously owned a Classic Joe II, which we had to sell for a long distance relocation. Ordered this and we are really impressed. It included so many accessories that I normally would have had to buy on my own separately. The upgrades on this are top notch and we love it. Stable, sturdy, well designed, flexible options and perfect grilling. Highly recommend.

Best price for the classic 3 anywhere in the universe. Complete grilling and smoking setup, you become a grilling master day one. I have owned a kamado in the past, but this brand at this price is unbeatable. Kamado Joe is the Amazon grilling king!

After having to retire my Chargriller offset smoker, due to it's age and increased air inleakage, I explored my options. I am so happy I chose this Kamado Joe unit. The temperature control is really easy and is Rock Solid once you set your vents correctly for the temperature you want. It has been a dream to use compared to my old offset. The size is perfect for our small family. The included accessories are a huge plus. For a larger family or larger groups you may want to go wth a larger version. I highly recommend this product.

After lots of research of this series 3 versus the previous two, and compare/contrast against the egg, I went with this. The sloroller, divide-and-conquer, and grate/plate kit provided with the base purchase are super attractive. A month later, I finally have it, and assembly was easy enough if you discount the missing/bent parts. This is the result of two deliveries. The first one was obviously rejected as you can see the hole blown into the box by a forklift and damage to the shell visible through that hole. I have no idea why the delivery person even bothered. The second delivery was a box that was apparently destroyed as they slid the exposed grill onto the lift, along with all the boxes they could find(yes, parts are missing), and I retrieved my convertible dolly to unload as it was 1) better than theirs(they even remarked how they needed one like mine) and 2) the lift didn't come down to ground level, so the plywood pallet was slid off of the lowered lift onto my dolly. Since the inspection didn't show any apparent cracks in the shell, I went ahead and accepted it. After the delivery truck returned to my residence with another box found in the truck(wheels for the grill), most of the assembly was completed. There is a bent hinge mount for the side tray, and a random washer and nut found in the body amongst the dust and exploded silica packet balls that were everywhere. The ash tool is missing, ceramic feet are missing, and the hinge engagement tool kit is nowhere to be found. I'm not sure if the plan was to sent out the busted one first to offload this one, but XPO is really failing at the handling part of shipping and handling here, even forgiving getting this thing a month later.

First the customer service from Amazon - I had to contact them a couple times, and they were extremely helpful and went out of their way to take care of it for me. Spot on service. The smoker/grill - Dialing in the temperature has a learning curve, but not much. Plenty of tutorials out there on what to do. The heat retention on this thing is great. I did a burn in with almost a full basket of briquettes and the coals were still burning in the morning at about 250F, which is a huge difference compared to my Masterbuilt Gravity Series 1050. My 1050 eats through charcoal. No regrets on this purchase.

Best barbecue out there.

What a great buy ! Amazing smoker and grill that is used all year. Never going back to propane BBQ. The taste of meat you get from this Kamado Grill is awesome. The company stands behind its products and has great customer service.

Chauffage rapide, excellent contrôle de la température et premier essai réussi pour griller des côtes de bœuf. En plus, le Kamado Joe Classic III est très beau!
