ChuckIt! Kick Fetch Dog Toy Ball, Glow In The Dark, Small

4 out of 5 of my pit bulls love this ball. I wrote about how they love the football style version of this ball earlier. This brand makes awesome and durable toys for dogs! My fifth pit bull won't chase anything that isn't breathing on it's own. He looks at us as nuts kicking this ball around the yard. I look like I have a soccer team of pit bulls playing in the yard as we kick this ball all over the place. The ball is also easy for the dogs to grip with their teeth, and they have a lot of fun playing chase once one grabs the ball. Warning! This is NOT an indestructible toy despite its durability. If you leave your dog alone with it, expect it to be partially destroyed one tiny piece at a time. I recommend supervising your dog during play to extend the life of this fantastic toy. We are on our second replacement...four pit bulls playing tug of war truly puts a hurting on any toy...but this has lasted the longest. Update 20170708: Yes, still 5 stars. I truly need to set this product up for monthly delivery because 3 of my pit bulls go through this or the football at a rate of about one a week. When I say 'ball,ball,' they get all excited and run for the door or to where we have the ball stowed. I have to stow it 7 ft off the floor level to keep it out of reach from complete annihilation. The 4th pit bull, Momma Bella, has since backed off playing as her 3 pups are now full grown and are very competitive for the ball. She prefers playing one on one with us so long as she isn't being body slammed by the younger dogs. I think Rugby is probably the closest description of what my younger dogs are doing when playing for this amazing toy. I have tried introducing other toys for play, but seriously, this is what they dream about as they sleep at night. The larger kickball is a challenge for my smallest dog, our runt in the litter, so we make some exceptions to feign throw the ball in one direction and toss it behind us to allow her more time to grip it with her mouth before being chased by her brothers for it. We do try to give each dog time with the ball each play period about two or three different times throughout the day. To keep the balls lasting at least a week, we cannot allow any one dog to keep the ball for any length of period or they start chewing on it to soften it and create tears in it for easier gripping during catch. The smaller football is a lot easier on our runt to get and run, but her larger brothers struggle with the unpredictable bounce when the ball is still mostly firm and intact. Alternating between the kick ball and the foot ball has been really great for exercise and mental stimulation of our dogs. I cannot praise this product enough. BTW the color choice is spot on...why? When they do manage to separate the inner foam ball from the outer orange and blue shell, they ignore the foam ball and play with the shredded outer covering. I know dogs can see limited colors and blue being one of them. I am not sure if orange is as well, but they absolutely love this and easily find the new ones in our workshop storage area against all the other stuff we have in storage if we aren't careful.

Someone gave my German shepherd one of these a couple of years ago, and she finally managed to destroy it with frequent (very frequent) play. I wasn’t going to replace it due to the price, but I caught a sale and ordered her one for Christmas. She’s obsessed with it. It’s easy for her to carry around in her mouth, but it holds up surprisingly well. I like that I can kick or toss it. We use it inside and out. Because it’s soft, it does less damage inside than many of her toys, even though it’s larger. It’s perfect for the right dog. I don’t think it would hold up to a dog that plays REALLY rough with its toys, but for most it would be fine.

We have a Chessie/Lab Mix and a German Shepherd and toy selection is a process in our house. The Chessie loves balls - tennis balls, soccer balls, squeaker balls etc. The German Shepherd on the other hand will chew up and swallow just about any toy he can. We no longer have stuffed toys (especially ones with squeakers) in our house. This is a big kick ball that looks like a giant tennis ball so our Chessie almost started drooling when he saw it. The GSD loves to fetch it but then brings it back to the Chessie to play tug-o-war with it. Considering the abuse this ball has taken I would say it has held up really well. They receive it for Christmas and it’s not July. Considering I once had to take a “Super Strong” *(and expensive) toy back to the pet store after the GSD pratically chewed it in half within and hour of me bringing home, I’d say going on 8 months with this one is great. Now don’t get me wrong it has some major wear and quite a few tears at this point, but I have yet to find anything my GSD can’t destroy. Around our house if it lasts more than a month it gets a stamp of approval and we probably have bought several replacement of that same item. We already have this one on the list to be replaced soon. It’s too much fun to be able to kick the ball around with a couple of dogs. Plus it’s nice to be able to kick the ball around ever now and then instead of having to grab the slobbery ball to throw it. This thing supposedly glows in the dark where the white rubberized part is, but honestly we never play out outside in the dark with it. It is indented where the white rubberized part is, so it’s pretty easy for the dogs to pick it up and carry it around ( or play tug with it in our boys case) This is a nice alternative to a soccer ball for them too. They liked playing witha soccer bal but would usually pop it within a week. This ball is a dense foam core so there’s no popping it. They love it and I would recommend it. We’ll be on our second one soon. Go play ball with your dog!

My dog loves to fetch, but a challenge is providing the dog with good toys that will last and are safe, as well as being well made. This toy, made by Chuckit, which in the past has satisfied me with some good stuff, has made another nice product. I purchased the large ball. The ball is about the size of a volleyball and is made up of canvas and has the inserts which are some sort of plastic material (hey, I don;t think it is plastic per se but I didn't receive my PHd in polymers so forgive me). I wouldn't use this outside, especially around concrete. My previous Chuckit toys like tugs just disintegrate with tha texture, this is similar. At any rate, the ball is heavier than might be expected so I wouldn't throw this around freely in the house. On the other hand, I am using this inside the house because in my experience the canvas will fray on concrete and pick up grass stains on the lawn. At first my dog did not like this ball because the ball takes some getting used to. My dog picked up the ball in every which way, but figured out the best spots to use for a quick pick. In fact, the dog can sometimes grab it out of the air with his mouth. Overall: this is a pretty tough little product. If your dog likes to chew, I think that is your dog's issue not the product. Similarly, if you use with minimally given the limitations, this should last for a long for a long time. It isn't puncture proof (most dogs will out those canines through the canvas and plastic areas at some point), but it hasn't compromised the ball. I really like this item. It is a bit pricey, but given that I have gone the cheap toy route before, I have noticed that those cheap items just don't last at all.

Best ball! This is the second one we’ve purchased. The first one lasted over two years! (still have it and use it but it’s falling apart-dog loved it) easy for our dog to grab and play with. Well made!

When I am reviewing a dog toy the first thing I generally look at is durability. As an owner of three large dogs I have had no shortage of trouble finding durable dog toys. Luckily, my three critics put me in a perfect position to review most dog toys that I purchase. For a multitude of reasons, The Chuckit! Large Kick Fetch Ball is one of those dog toys that I have no problem giving 5 stars. First and foremost the durability on this item has been wonderful. On durability alone I would give this ball 5 stars. My youngest dog, a 70lb pit mix, plays with this toy nearly every day. At least a few times a day I go outside and kick this ball around with her. My 70lb pit bull mix and my 65lb black lab mix regularly get into tugging matches with this ball. These tug matches can last upwards of 10 minutes! Remarkably, this ball has held up for over two months. This is a huge feat in my house, where toys routinely last less than 24 hours. Of course the toy has routine wear and tear on it. Teeth marks and some minor tearing. This is to be expected with the amount of abuse this ball puts up with. I had grown a little tired of picking up a slimed tennis ball while playing fetch with my dog. If I were to use a Chuckit! launcher I fear it would go over the fence in my yard. This ball offered the perfect compromise, a large kick fetch ball. It performs this function perfectly! The size of the ball is big enough for me to land a good kick on. The ball's material is light enough to easily kick far distances while heavy enough so that it won't blow away with a strong gust of wind. Chuckit! has truly designed a near perfect toy! I have zero complaints of the Chuckit! Large Kick Fetch Ball. I know from past experience that Chuckit!'s customer service is top notch. Even if I happened to someday come up with a complaint, I am sure it would be handled promptly. Any dog owner should not hesitate to purchase this dog toy. Rest assured, you will not regret this purchase.

Our 16 month old 55 lb female pit bull loves this toy!! We had started playing soccer with her with a regular soccer ball and she absolutely loved it. The only problem was that she really sunk her teeth into the soccer ball and the covering came off after just about three weeks of playing with it. The stitching also came apart to the point where the ball just needed to be thrown away. We came across this Chuck It a while back and reconsidered buying it once the regular soccer ball got destroyed. WOW, what a great toy!! This toy is similar to a soccer ball in that you can kick it. I will say, there is a slight difference because this ball is a bit bouncier so there is less ability for people to have ball control like you would with a regular soccer ball. For example, if you are playing with your dog and two adults, and one adult tries to catch the ball with their chest or stomach, it bounces off and away from your body much more than a soccer ball would. The material that the ball is made out if is very strong and seems like it will hold up for a while. Our dog can grab the Chuck It more easily because of the large grooves in it that are made specially for dogs to carry this in their mouths. It is a great concept because she is less likely to bite the ball anywhere else or try to sink her teeth into the ball because she can get a good grip on it without doing that. This ball is also easier to get away from your dog (we play "keep away" from her but she is WAY BETTER than we are). With a soccer ball our dog would almost always get the ball away from us - we cheated and had to use our hands - and even then the ball would easily slip away. The "grip" or "handle" style of this ball also makes it easier for humans to get involved in playtime with kicking, throwing and playing fetch. It is so much fun!! The ball is easy to clean. You can just rinse it off with soap and water - or just water - and it will dry fairly quickly. I highly recommend this ball for anyone who loves to play fetch or soccer with their dog!!! Chuckit! I bought this toy for my sister's GIANT cane corso. This dog is huge, like "great dane" huge...maybe even bigger! I ordered the large ball because of this; I wanted it to be big enough to fit in her mouth without her possibly choking or getting it lodged in her mouth. And I was right to buy the "L" size (large), vs. the "S" size (small), as labeled in the bottom corner of the packaging. The dimensions listed for the product are accurate, so it fit in her giant mouth perfectly, maybe even a little too big. But because of its design, she could easily grip the open edges. I also decided to buy this ball because it seemed like it would be durable enough to survive my sister's dog. Now, this dog loves to rip and pick her toys apart, using her teeth with precision to tear out little strands and tufts of fluff until it is completely destroyed within hours. She can strip a tennis ball bald in about 1 hour. So I was very pleasantly surprised by how long this ball lasted! Although the exterior is a resistant coarse fabric, she had ripped a small seam by week one, but the ball did not fall apart and could still be kicked and thrown without a problem. She continued to work on it, until now 2 months later, the whole side is torn open and she can reach the inside and tear the stuffing out. The cool thing though is that the inside is made of a type of styrofoam, but thicker and stronger, so if the ball does, in fact, rip, it doesn't fall apart like most stuffed toys. It will maintain its shape and stay together. So overall, this ball is a must-have for dogs. Its just as resiliant as buying a real soccer ball for your dog, but has the gripable parts needed for more enjoyable playing. This ball WILL meet your expectations and I'm glad I decided to try it out!

Solid and well made. Really love the chuckit brand all my massive shepards toys are chuckit now. Leave in the sun to charge up the glow. Just not too much that it might damage the fabric.

Questa palla è molto bella peccato che mi è arrivata di un diametro di cm 14 al prezzo di 30 euro e nelle foto la fanno vedere di diametro cm 19. Tempo fa ne avevo comprata una di diametro cm 19 in negozio al prezzo di 40 euro. Il prodotto è ottimo sono rimasta delusa della dimensione, a quel prezzo non l'avrei acquistata. Ora la tengo perché il mio cane ne va' pazzo e l'ha vista.

Destroyed quickly, but loves it. I really wish it was more durable. I've purchased another toy for my Hulk from Chuckit! and it's long-lasting, safe indoors, and loads of fun. He can chew it forever and hasn't made a dent. He's had it for 2 weeks now and we play fetch outdoors and indoors with it... the ChuckIt! Ultra Ball Dog Toy, Durable High Bounce Floating Rubber Dog Ball. He loves it! I just wanted a bigger version of it but this one did not last unfortunately.

A bola é muito boa, além de ser leve é muito boa para o cachorro pegar. O formato dela possibilita a pegada do cão mesmo sendo uma bola grande. Já é a minha segunda e não porque a primeira estragou, mas sim porque tenho medo de ficar sem de tanto que ela é amada. Mas lembrando não é um brinquedo para deixar a disposição, ela deve ser usada sob supervisão.

Meus cães amam. Já comprei 4 bolas dessas. Tem essas cavidades que ajudam eles a pegarem.
