Howoften should both the black filters and white filters be replaced?

Hi Ingrid , the pf-2 filters have to be replaced every year , put a small piece of masking tape on the back of the filter and write the date they were installed ... And the Black berkey filters should be replaced every 6000 gallons , also they advise you ( the company ) to put a table spoon of red dye in with the water ,this way when it starts to leach the dye in the lower container it's time to change the black filters , I personally take the black filters out every 2 months to rinse them , hope that helps ...

These filters are for the Berkey gravity water filter and are not intended for showers. The filters designed for shower heads will fit most any shower head. It is a standard fitting just like is already in your shower.

Yes, these are true Berkey products. All Berkey products that we carry come directly from the manufacturer. In the picture, there are no markings with the product number or the flow direction. The filters do have the correct markings on them when you get them.

Il filtro aggiuntivo in sé è noto per le sue caratteristiche e qualità. Utilizzabile solo a corredo del sistema di filtrazione berkey, avvitandoli ai filtri già presenti. Il mio è stato un regalo per una famiglia che possiede il sistema e che abita in un’area in cui sono state riscontrate tracce di arsenico nell’acqua potabile.

Based on the great support and experience of Berkey and on ease of ...

I have used these before and as far as I know they work. It is hard to review this product in terms of it's effectiveness experienced through a user as the contaminants that it removes such as flouride cannot be seen or tasted. Based on the great support and experience of Berkey and on ease of use, I rate it 5 stars. There carbon filters are truly incredible, they improve the flavour of water so much.
