Royal Green Frankincense Hojari from Oman Boswellia Sacra Pure Incense Chruch Incense Olibanum luban (1 oz)

This is my first dive into frankincense; however, I am currently using one tear in a jar of drinking water for daily consumption. The one tear has lasted me a month so far, I just keep adding water. I estimate that this one tear will last another month or two. I find the smell and taste pleasant and comforting; it appears to be of high quality frankincense.

I'm a bit of a gumaholic, (I buy it by the case) and I can go through several sticks in a very short time. I recently read an article about plastics that have been discovered in gum, and even though I use sugar-free gum, I knew I had to cut back. I rarely drink out of plastic bottles and store food in glass, so I was disappointed to find out that I'd been ingesting plastic this way! Frankincense is so good for you, (quells inflammation), and I use a great quality essential oil by mouth, but I thought I'd try this Frankincense gum as an alternative to regular gum. * First off, hold it in your mouth for a few minutes before you begin chewing or it'll fall apart and stick to your teeth. After it's warmed up, it's similar enough to chewing gum. The taste isn't sweet at all, but the taste is not as strong as the essential oil I use, so I don't think it's bad at all. Mild, even. This is a great option for me, and I'll buy more when I run out. I'm glad to have discovered another option.

It's pretty good! I think it's a little more like pine-sap than I was expecting; some Frankincense has a more distinct and slightly sweeter smell that i wouldn't describe as "piney" so much, but this is good too... I'm only giving 4 stars because I've had better but it was a long-long time ago.

Unfortunately, I did not receive the infamous "GREEN" Hojari Frankincense as described. The reason I ordered this particular Frankincense was to see the difference between in the GREEN Frankincense and the one I normally buy that comes from Sudan. First of all, I was sad to see that the package was much smaller than the picture, then after opening the bag, I could not find not one GREEN piece of Frankincense in the entire bag. It does not look like the picture. I wanted to see if this particular so called GREEN Frankincense burned longer and had a greater fragrance...but sadly, this one had very little punch at all. The fragrance was minimal at best. The one from Sudan that ships from Turkey is the one I love because of the pungent, deep fragrance with every piece. Plus for nearly the same price, you get a lot more, with really large easy to cut soft-gummy pieces. I separate the huge chunks from the medium and smaller pieces in separate bags and when I run low, I go for the huge chunks till my next order arrives. I love the beautiful scent of Frankincense, so for this package, I have to give it a solid thumbs down. I don't recommend this item based on the photo and the description because it is not GREEN at all, and the bag is about the size of my hand. The fragrance seems to be a bit synthetic and some pieces barely had any scent to them at all. Just smoked up the house for nothing ... Sad but true!

This is a really nice hojari frankincense resin for the price. Most incense on Amazon is not very good (or downright terrible). Not this. While it's not the most premium quality available, it is still very nice. It might even be the highest quality frankincense you can get on here. The fragrance is very strong and pleasant, and it burns cleanly. The taste is good, but it doesn't quite have the same chewability as a really high quality hojari. It claims to be sustainably harvested, which is good. Short of going to a speciality supplier, you probably cant do any better on Amazon. Stop searching and buy this, lol. I'll definitely be buying more.

This is the real deal. The resin is sweet and beautiful. When you open the pouch you can smell the quality right away. If you are familiar with frankincense, you will know a little about the kind of smell associated with it. So imagine that classic frankincense smell, but really clean, fresh, and slightly citrussy. It's definitely an uplifting aroma. The tears are quite small, and definitely not green like you see in the picture. More like borderline green in some of the tears. The tears do burn quickly, and if used on charcoal, you will get through this bag quickly. Tea light burners will give a cleaner scent, and last longer. But the smell will not get around the house so much with a tea light burner. So it depends what you want from your frankincense. Value for money is not great. You don't get a lot for your money. But you will get top tier quality

I just received this product and I cannot express how happy I am with the quality Opening the bag and smelling the aroma took me back to my childhood It has such a beautiful colour and smell and it’s worth every penny It’s it more expensive than others - yes - but once you understand the difference you will immediately know you made the right choice

Although there was no branded packaging - the product was exactly as described. Gret variety in tear size and shape, to my liking.
