Finally!
I have been searching literally years for a straightener that does what the manufacturer says it will do. Let me tell ya, there is NO straightener that is a one pass wonder. My hair is very naturally curly & frizzes with a sneeze it seems like. As for this little beauty, there are things I like & pesky things I don't. I love how it takes less time to straighten my hair & that it provides a curl at the ends. I don't have to go layer by layer anymore, but if I want it really straight, I do go by layers. It even gets that pesky cowlick that I had to go over multiple times with a flat iron. Needless to say, my flat irons are the ones sitting on the shelf collecting dust, I am truly in awe that it works this well. It seems that my hair is softer using this vs flat iron. I wish it would say ferinheight in stead of Celsius. The buttons are in a place where I worry when hitting one that I have either turned it off or lowered temp. The one thing that really ticks me off... I paid $70 for this a couple weeks ago & it's now $30! If you're on the fence about this little gem, hop off that fence today & snag this baby up for $30. I have NOT been given ANY incentives for mho. For now I am satisfied with my straightener, for once.

Does what it says it will do. Really, that's the best praise you can give.
I am all thumbs with standard hair straighteners. I always grip too hard or linger too long on a section and end up with a weird wave pressed in from the edge of the straightener. Forget blow drying, too. I'd need at least one extra hand to handle THAT task. This thing is as intuitive as brushing your hair. Really. I used it on the 365f setting, as I have blue, green and purple hair. I ran it through the "problem sections" of my hair. I have these tiny, super curly baby hairs around the top of my face. They don't lay down and can't be reasoned with. The brush straightened them right out.It heats up quickly, and the guards on the tips of the bristles mean I didn't burn my fingers when I accidentally touched my scalp... Repeatedly. Since I use dry shampoo I often end up with a staticy mane, and the brush tamed it right down. As long as it doesn't break then I don't see me getting rid of it any time soon. The only thing I'd change is a beep when it gets to the set temperature. Also, I can see why the button placement was problematic for some users. They really are EXACTLY where you hold the brush. I was careful not to press them because I saw the other reviews that pointed that out.

Mine had minor defects, but the company was responsive and made it right. I found it to be top heavy and awkward to handle, but I have arthritis in my hands. My sister has one and she loves it. It straightens her hair in the time it takes to brush it. So, while it wasn't right for me, my sister highly recommends it. I suggest trying it for yourself.

This is a very helpful tool that really does take less time than my straightener. However, I have thick, but fine hair that can get pretty wavy and the brush can have a difficult time in the wavy/curly areas even with a good pre-brushing. However, overall, it is very helpful when in a hurry to tame the fuzzy wavy/curly fine hair that I have.

This is a nice product if you are in a rush and need to "semi-straighten" your hair quickly. It does NOT straighten as well as a flat iron, but it will work in a pinch!

I bought this brush to help straighten my 3 daughters' hair. They have very very kinky and curly hair types. I think the brush worked ok. It didn't come out as straight as I wanted and didn't get very close to the scalp to straighten. I will continue to use it between straightening to "re-smooth" hair though.

Not for all hair types
This item may work for some, but it did not work on my hair type. It did not replace my current straightener. Instead, it added a step to the straightening process. I loved the idea and really wanted it to work on my fine, colored, wavy hair, but it did very little and I was left still needing to use a flat iron.

Painful!!!
This brush was awful. I read the reviews before buying it and they sounded good so I figured I would give it a try. Ouch! the rubber bristle tips pulled out a bunch of my hair, and I have fine hair, it's not snarly hair at all. Also my hand kept hitting the control buttons and changing the temperature, but I was fine with that as it was in the reviews I read before purchasing this brush. the worst part was the pulling of the hair. I will stick to my flat iron.
