Great weightless shampoo that gives great volume to fine hair

★☆☆☆☆ I had high hopes for this shampoo given the brand’s reputation, but unfortunately it was one of the worst shampoos I’ve used. From the first wash, my hair felt extremely dry, rough and stripped of moisture. Instead of adding volume, it left my hair feeling brittle, tangled and difficult to manage. After a few uses, I noticed significantly more breakage than usual and my hair looked dull rather than healthy. I followed the instructions and used my usual conditioner, but it made little difference. For a premium-priced product, I expected much better results. This shampoo may work for some hair types, but if your hair is fine, colour-treated or prone to dryness, I would be cautious. Sadly, it left my hair in worse condition than before I started using it.

My wife is delighted with this shampoo, but at £40 a bottle this is too expensive to buy for her except for Christmas.

I have extremely fine, oily, and straight hair that goes flat very easily. I love how this makes my hair feel after I dry it. The problem is how it feels when my hair is wet. I’ve never had a shampoo tangle my hair so badly before — it feels completely clumped up in the shower and it’s incredibly frustrating to detangle. Once I’ve managed to get through that, though, my hair looks fantastic and stays clean for a long time. Definitely a love hate relationship here.

I’ve been using this shampoo for a few years now after it was used at the hairdressers. I used to wash my hair every day but using this with the delightfully fragrant conditioner I can go 3/4 days between washes. I have occasionally gone over to a different shampoo to try but always come back to my Pureology. I think it must always be used with the conditioner though.

I’ve tried several volumising shampoos but this one is very light & smells lovely - it left my hair ultra clean & feels like it has a lot more volume. I have ordered more & also ordered the weightless conditioner to try too!

Great product

After growing out my blonde I realized my natural hair is so oily. I couldn’t stand it I was washing my hair everyday and still looked so greasy by the need of the day. This shampoo is amazing! I can go three days without washing my hair and I get great volume. If your hair is dry this is not for you but if you’re tired of having flat greasy hair this is great.

Wonderful. Is expensive but a little goes a long way. Makes my thin hair fuller with some body.

This shampoo works really well for a weekly deep clean. It removes buildup from products and leaves my hair feeling clean without stripping it completely. The sulfate-free formula is gentle, and my hair still feels soft after washing instead of dry or squeaky. A little goes a long way, and it has a light, clean scent. Perfect for refreshing your hair when it starts to feel weighed down.
