Healthy Ponds Aquasphere Pro Biodegradable Pond Treatment, Treats up to 50,000 Gallons

We purchased this product as an alternative to Microbe-Lift HC. Although the latter is an excellent product, what attracted me to this was the steady release of bacteria. Thus far, the product has worked as described. The pond is clearer, and there is no string algae in our waterfall area. Additionally, we have turned off our UV clarifier in the hopes of being able to keep the pond clear via natural means.Other things that contribute to a healthy and clear pond include:- Good re-circulation. Ideally, you should ensure the entire volume of the pond is recirculated every hour.- Good aeration. We run an aerator in the evening during the warmer months to help keep the pond temperature cooler.- Plants. We have a lot of plants in and around the pond that help keep the pond clear.

We use this in our "water feature" which is about 22 x 33. We use double the recommendation per gallon of water. It quickly, (2-3 days), clears up the water but does not last the full 30 days due to our pond having daily full sun. However it works the best of anything we have used.

just drop it in and it's starts working, cleared the water in 3 days.

It works. Pond was getting very green, now clear. Working longer now weather is cooler. Non toxic non chemical. Koi, frogs and other mosquito fish all doing well.

Have used it a few years in a row, seems to work

I bought four of them and three of them seemed to work as stated. One of them had been spilling in the bag prior to opening and after putting in the pond a couple of days later it was floating on the top. Not sure how much it really helped but with the other three I am beginning to be able to see the bottom of the pond and it is much cleaner looking.
