Yes I think it will but please check on the temperature. The holder takes a hot hair iron but your embossing tool would probably be quite a bit hotter. The size is ok, but suggest you check on the heat.

I wouldn't because I put my hot iron back in when it's still somewhat hot. I think it would be too snug of a fit. I bought 2. I love mine & would buy again. I travel with one also

Q: Will this work on a tile counter?

Smooth clean dry surfaces are best; as well as the Holster surface. My tiles are 1" square and with the grout it doesn't work. I think it would work with larger tiles and less grout.
