Ethique Eco-Friendly Face Cleansing Bar, Bliss Bar 3.88 oz

I have struggled with my skin being dry on top and oily on bottom, as well as dry flaky skin next to my nostrils for years. I tried everything for that including dandruff shampoos and treatments. Nothing ever fixed it. Since I am on a plastic-reducing journey I decided to try some Ethique products and got a small sample of this cleanser. When I say this soap, combined with the solid moisturizer, immediately got rid of my flakey skin... I am not joking. These two products have changed my life. I will never buy another set of products again. These have replaced everything else I could need for my face care. This soap is gentle enough to not give my skin that tight feeling like soap normally does after use. It lathers well and does mostly take off my makeup (it does not take off my waterproof mascara but does take off my normal mascara). It also lasts a REALLY long time. I use it daily and only need to reorder about twice a year. I couldn't recommend this soap more.

Love this bar! Takes off makeup great, doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry. I was worried about breaking out when switching to a bar cleanser but I didn’t at all. I purchased this a few months ago and the bar is still pretty much the same size and hasn’t gotten gross. Highly recommended and worth the price.

All Natural Face Cleanser - That Works - Highly Recommend Product: Ethique Bliss Bar - Face Cleansing Packaging: 3-Pack, Eco-Friendly, No Plastic Packaging Value: Excellent! $30 for 3 bars $10/bar - It's been 8 months and and I still have 1/2 a bar left. How long does one bar last when used nightly: 2 - 2.5 months (I use the bar directly on my face, if you use rub it onto a wash cloth - obviously, it may not last as long.) My Skin Type: Mature 50-years - Very Dry Sensitive Skin (I used to have oily skin and honestly think this would work well with any skin type.) (I do need to moisturize after cleansing, but I do that with any cleanser. This is my go to for evening makeup removal. If you want a thick hydrating face cleanser, LUSH UltraBland works well - I use that in the AM. It absorbs beautifully during hot shower, but it lacks in removing makeup.) Usage: I wet my face, swipe the bar lightly and quickly around my face. Quick rinse. Then use the corner of the bar to swipe each eye lid and rinse off. 30 seconds and done. (I use regular mascara - Wet&Wild Mega Protein, not sure how bar would do with waterproof mascara) Ingredients: High quality ingredients - GF, Vegan, Really impressed with this brand Tip 1: All Ethique products seem to turn to goo - if you leave them in water. (I tried putting one item in a LUSH tin, but when a little water got in with it - things went south quickly. Placing all Ethique products on a soap saver will extend the life of the product. Tip 2: All Ethique products seem to melt during hot summer months. Recommend buying spring, winter, or autumn seasons. Now I stock up in spring to get me through our hot summers.

I am trying my best to eliminate plastics, especially single-use plastics from my family's life. It's really hard. You don't even think about a lot of it, a head of cauliflower comes wrapped in plastic, fresh berries in those horrible clam shell plastic boxes, all our personal products come in single-use plastic. Ethique gives us the opportunity to eliminate the plastic from soaps, shampoos and conditioners. And to top it all off they are great products. I love the shampoos and the conditioners. I bought this one to wash my face with before putting on moisturizers. It's gentle and has very little scent so my allergies aren't triggered. Thanks to Ethique we don't have to throw away those nasty plastic bottles.
