It was our first 4x4x4 and for that purpose (we are puzzlers, not speedcubers) it is really great. I don't think it's the fastest cube, but the sides do slide very nicely, so for just practicing speedcubing it should be enough. I was slightly surprised at the size when it arrived, I thought it would be bigger - but now I am extremely happy with the size, because it fits well in the hands. The "instruction" manual is unfortunately not very comprehensive, but Youtube fills the gap.

pretty smooth 4x4, I only got a pop after a couple of months with a wide turn at like 30 degrees, and it was easy to fix. Magnets are however pretty weak, and lubricants don't last all that long. Great feel and an excellent price if you're not willing to spend $20 on an mgc.

I have a couple 5x5s that have not been so easy to work with, so I was really surprised at how much better this 4x4 is. It moves pretty fast and I never had any problems with lockups. Very easy to control too. It's very good at corner cutting (easily from large angles) and reasonable at reverse corner cutting. It's a great valued cube!
