Q: is this basically the same as an aerporess, which out of the two gives a better coffee ?

Different brewing methods. Pipamoka more portable and has a thermal mug. No filter required.

Q: Hi I Bought my Pipamoka a week ago, i have watched the tutorial and tied 5 times to make a coffee unfortunately half of the water remains in lining

The key is to use medium ground coffee and rotate pressure dial very gently. Fine ground coffee can sometimes leave water behind as it’s too packed to letter water through easily. Also, once the coffee filter cage has settled to the bottom, tap the flask until most of the air bubbles have gone. Lots of air bubbles can leave behind water too.
