Nice but fairly weak taste.

Even though it's a 'diet' protein I use it in both bulking and cutting phases of my training and also recommend it to my PT clients. Low kcals and a good amount of protein per serving makes it a great choice. I've seen some complaints about the taste but personally I don't get it, I mix 30 grams of powder with 250 to 300mls of 1% fat skimmed milk and it tastes absolutely fine. So far I've tried the chocolate desert, strawberry and salted caramel and all taste great. What people need to understand is that it's a diet protein with very low sugar content and less rubbish in it than others, if you want a more tasty powder you'll be hard pressed to find one as good as this and at such a low price.

I had fairly high expectations for this product because I’ve always considered Applied Nutrition to be a good-quality brand. Unfortunately, the chocolate flavour was a real disappointment for me. I’m not a particularly fussy eater and I’ve tried quite a few different protein powders, but I really don’t like the taste of this one. It doesn’t taste much like chocolate to me at all, which I found surprising for a product described as “Chocolate Dessert”. I even tried adding extra cocoa powder to improve the flavour, but it didn’t really solve the problem. I found the overall taste difficult to enjoy, and unfortunately it’s enough of an issue that I wouldn’t choose this particular flavour again. The texture itself is actually alright, particularly because I usually use an immersion blender to mix my protein powders, which gives a smooth result. So my main issue is definitely the flavour rather than the consistency. I can’t really comment on the longer-term benefits of the added ingredients or its effectiveness for weight management, as those are things that would require much longer use to assess. My review is mainly about the flavour and smell and my experience using it. Not the best for flavour or sweetness. But gets the job done for low calorie/good protein. Mixes well

I absolutely love this protein powder. It’s great for macros if you are in a fat loss phase and it tastes great. Use for shakes; in baking and for mixing with yoghurt. Really good texture and mixes well.

the chocolate flavor is not to intense......if you want to make it thick make it 3 scoops in 300ml milk......then you will get that thick milkshake consistency......nest time going to try strawberry
